As an avid traveler who values terrain, culture, safety, pacing, and genuine local connection, I can honestly say that our trip with Mr Linh’s Adventures was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. This was my first trip to Vietnam, and I wanted it to be a meaningful experience to share with my son. From the beginning, Tham was outstanding. I had many questions, and she was patient, responsive, and attentive. She listened carefully to what I was hoping for and quickly sent an itinerary that showed she understood exactly the kind of experience we wanted. This never felt like a generic tour. It felt thoughtfully built around us. The landscape of Northern Vietnam is extraordinary: steep mountains, dramatic cliffs, rice fields shaped by human hands, water, patience, and generations of mountain knowledge, remote villages, caves, waterfalls, and communities that seem to know how to make everything work with the land. We saw farming techniques, unique homes, animal care, papermaking, metalworking, incense making, and daily life in places most travelers would never understand on their own. John deserves enormous credit. He did not simply guide us from place to place. He taught us constantly. He explained the plants, insects, crops, ethnic minority cultures, Vietnamese customs, village architecture, food, history, and the small details we would have walked past without noticing. By the end of the first day, he had already picked up on our interests, food preferences, pace, and what made the trip meaningful for us. Not because anything was wrong, but because he was observant, adaptable, and deeply committed to giving us more of what we loved. Vuong was also exceptional. His driving was outstanding, controlled, steady, and perfectly paced on roads that can be steep, winding, and unpredictable. We always felt safe. After every trek or stop, Vuong seemed to be right there, smiling, waving, and ready with the door open. That level of reliability made the whole trip feel effortless. One of the most unforgettable people we met was Mrs. Kim, our homestay host. Her kindness was so warm and genuine that it felt, in the deepest way, like being able to hug my grandmother again. John and Vuong picked us up as our guide and driver. By the end, we were saying goodbye to two new friends. I plan to come back with my younger son because I know he will be safe and cared for. Tell them what you want, and they will make it happen.

We did The Great Northern Vietnam Trekking Loop 14 days 13 nights. Our guide was John who did a fantastic job of guiding us on our hikes and looking after us at each meal time. Will miss John saying… hey guys. His English is great and he loves to learn even more detail. Ngoc was our driver and did a great job with all the driving. He kept the car clean and always opened the doors for us. For us the hiking was a perfect amount of up to 15km most days. Home stays were comfortable. Food was plentiful.

Hung is more than a guide – he’s a true friend!** We had an incredible experience with MR LINH's Adventuresl, all thanks to our guide, Hung. He is the perfect mix of a true professional and a kind, helpful friend. His approach to work is top-notch! Hung took us to see stunning waterfalls and fascinating caves, sharing great stories along the way. He was always there to help and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire trip. If you are visiting Vietnam, you definitely need a guide like him. Super professional and super friendly! Highly recommended! And Cuong best local driver😃

Completed the 5D/4N Ha Giang trekking tour. It exceeded our expectations. The beauty of this area is spectacular. Our guide, John, always ensured we were happy and provided many opportunities to stop for photos. He took us to local eateries and ensured we got to taste many local Vietnamese dishes. Our drive was also friendly, always made sure the car was clean and we always felt safe with his driving. If you get the opportunity to see this part of the world, do it!

The trip to waterfall was absolutely amazing and majestic. The cave we visited was incredibly spacious and breathtaking. Ving drove exceptionally smoothly i usually get carsick very easily, but thanks to his driving, I felt comfortable and relaxed the entire time its surprised me most was after visiting the waterfall, the car suddenly turned toward a temple. I wondered where is Hung taking us now? It turned out he wanted to show us another beautiful viewpoint that no other tour groups visited. Your boy connected each destination with interesting historical stories, making the journey even more meaningful. Pls send my apologies to Hung and Ving for making him message us three times to ask whether we had left an online review for him its seems he really needs it for some reason

My husband, three sons and I have just finished an incredible 7 day adventure in Ha Giang province with Mr Linh's Adventure Tours and cannot recommend doing this highly enough. We were in excellent hands with our guide, Long, who took care of everything and was knowledgeable, flexible and great fun. He showed us so much and took us on some terrific hikes into the high mountains. Our driver, Bao, should get a gold medal for how well he handled those hairpin mountain bends and was never flustered or rushed. Honestly, we set off with high expectations for this trip and they were exceeded. We will remember this trip forever :)

Hi, iam Elisa, people in a group of three people traveling with the guide Hung. Just want to share my opinion for each other, my family traveled together, and my mother is actually very weak. On the first day when we were picked up and got on the van, my mother received very careful attention and support, as she had a minor injury to her knee from a previous trip. I truly appreciate that mr Hung and mr Wang suggested that my mother sit in the middle seat to avoid motion sickness. She was very happy to have a young person assisting her and offering an arm for her to hold onto throughout the trip, especially when entering Tiger Cave. It was extremely wet and difficult to walk for elderly people. I had never really thought about my mother’s mobility difficulties when my sister and I decided to book this trip. Your waterfall was very beautiful, and mr Hung took many photos for my family. He is very good at choosing shooting angles. I even have a personal video that he made for my family, as this was our final trip together. Most of all, thank you to Mr. Linh for the warm and cozy homestay. Because it is located in the forested mountains, I encountered a very large spider in the room. I asked Hung to message the room service staff, but it seemed he was unable to get help from them, so he personally caught the spider gently with both hands. He did not kill it, but released it instead, as a way of protecting your national park

We've just finished an amazing 8d7n bespoke private tour of the north with Mr Linh's Adventures. We had to make several last-minute changes to the itinerary after a typhoon, and our guide Eddie used his extensive local knowledge to come up with a new schedule that somehow not only covered everything we wanted to do originally but added some extra stops on top. I don't know what deal he made with the weather gods, but somehow everywhere we went was bright and sunny at all the right times! There was necessarily a lot of driving in our itinerary but it wasn't a problem because the vehicle was clean and comfortable, our driver was calm and professional, and Eddie made sure we stopped to see something every couple of hours to break up the longer journeys, as well as giving us lots of interesting historical and cultural insights. Eddie also made sure to learn what we liked and didn't like so that he could order the best food and drinks for us - we had excellent meals throughout, which always cost less than we expected. In fact I think a lot of discounts were negotiated on our behalf on food, excursions, souvenirs and accommodation! We saw some incredibly beautiful places that we would not have known about and avoided the "tourist conveyor belt" experience that we'd had in other places. We did a lot of research and seriously considered doing a DIY trip but I'm so glad we didn't - we wouldn't have seen half as much stuff and I think we would have had a much less "local" experience. The price was substantially lower than most of the other quotes we got from other places too, which was surprising for such a well-known company. We're here for 3 weeks but this 8 days really made the holiday for us. Thanks guys!!
