Rooms are spacious and clean, staffs are friendly breakfast buffet has limited option, they serve the same food items everyday. If you have own transportation you can choose to stay here as it’s away from entertainment area. Rooms are not sound proofed you can hear people talking in other rooms. Sanitary wares are old and with no control for hot water. For the price they offer it’s not that bad to stay here.

Quiet but central. Room is big and clean; yet, it’s infested with ants if you leave food out. Everything else is clean. Hotel is a bit out of date but clean otherwise. Staffs are friendly. Hotel was advertised as pet friendly; but it is not. Since we had a small dog under 3kg and paid for our reservation beforehand, we were let to stay. But please make note that it’s is NOT pet friendly. Even though it would have been perfect to stay with small pets.

Claims to be a five star hotel, but still not more than two. Nice building, very shallow pool, all the gym machines are broken. Meager breakfast, when food is gone hardly any resupply... beats me why. Cleaning is not good as well, very dusty rooms. Beats me why the staff isn't a bit more service like. Maybe it's because the lack of knowledge of English. It is most definitely a hotel for locals and not for international tourist. If you look for a true Vietnam experience...well.. On the positive side not very expensive and a nice location and view.

The worst hotel ever. If you have to stay there, avoid room 424, 425 at all cost. The water pump on 5 floor makes loud noise all the time. When I asked to change to other room, the staff went to check the room and she worn no mask, she said that it was the party on 5th floor that would end later. She didn't bring her internal radio with her so she used the phone in the room and called the receptionist to tell them it was nothing. She turned the AC to 16°C and got out of the room angrily after telling us there was no other room. After that, I still heard the noise and it was like someone drill in my brain so I called the receptionist again, they said that it was the water pump and they agreed to change the room for me. So it means the first staff lied to us. She came back to the room, no mask, gave us new key and called the receptionist to ask what to do with the room. It was so rude. We had the room on the 1st floor and the hallway was so dark and looked suspicious. The hall on 4th floor smelled like dirty toilet. In the room, everything was old. The tap at the bath seemed stuck so it was impossible to use the tub. The curtain wasn't enough to prevent water to drain everywhere on the floor. Cups were dirty. The rack was as high as the door ( 2 meters from the floor), I don't think it was designed for short people or maybe I have to bring the chair in the bathroom. The socket was loose from the wall. The only way to get some water to boil was to use the bidet and it's...dirty. Guests and staff kept making loud noise at night and they talked really loud so that everybody can hear them even if they closed the door. Beside the pool, between 2 walls, it was trash. There're not many dishes for dinner and breakfast, food was not good

I stayed here for a night in August, and to be very honest with you, it was a pretty bad experience. Most of the rooms on floor 2 smelled heavily of cigarettes, not very pleasant for families or anyone at all. For their breakfast, my grandparents accidentally ate MOLDY bread that was served at the breakfast buffet. I lifted a slice of bread and the rest of the loaf was moldy. This is definitely NOT food safe and not okay at all. My younger cousin almost ate a moldy longan as well. For their breakfast "buffet", they only had curry, fried rice, bok choy, moldy bread, moldy fruit, and your usual coffee and tea. The only edible thing there was their Hu Tieu Ga (chicken noodle soup). Honestly a horrible experience. Would NOT recommend to stay here.

I travel a lot for business and New Palace Hotel is the cleanest hotel I have found in Bac Lieu but it still as a lot to be desired!! ||But at least I don’t share my room with insects and creatures as other hotels I have tried in Bac Lieu!! |||| It is supposed to be 5* but there Is never any hot water to shower at night or in the mornings!! Every time I check in I ask is there hot water to shower they always promise there is but it is not true!!||||Hot water is not a luxury!! ||||The pillows are hard so cannot sleep well.||||The restaurant never as much food , I don’t know why they have a menu because they never have what you want. You end up asking ok tell me what you do have!!

The hotel locates at the new area of Bac Lieu so it's quite far from the city center. However, as it's just recently opened so the rooms were clean and new! Room was spacious. However, the room set up was quite odd-like the work table in the room has no extra electrical outlet so no place for your laptop to plug in! However, the breakfast was so good, no one should miss it! It's one of the best hotel in Bac Lieu, but the facility and service is definitely not a 5 star..more like a 3 star international standard! Well, but at least they made the effort to strive better-at least the floral arrangement was real orchid ..not some fake plastic flower where you normally find in some other hotels.

First time visiting my dad's hometown and my aunt recommended this hotel as it just opened in January. Room is ok and spacious, we stayed in an Executive room. Breakfast is average as food and drinks run out fast and they don't refill. Overall I give thus hotel a 2 and half star. Still needs a lot of improvement
