  When you arrive they tell you that there was an error on booking.com which was a bit strange - they probably want to avoid the website's fees and negative reviews. The bed was a bit hard, but overall it was an okay hostel experience. Not great, but not bad either. The floating market tour is recommendable

  I am a bit torn here.. The location is pretty darn great - far enough away to have peace and quiet but close enough to reach downtown easily by foot. The staff was phenomenal! The guided tour was amazing (even though you most probably paid like... 3 times as much as organizing it yourself) and I had a lot of fun! They also helped me tons to organize the next leg of my travels. Without their local insider knowledge, it would have been quite hard for me to organize it. On the other hand... The booking cancelation you read here is a thing. As compensation, you get a free small bottle of water. So yeah... I understand, it's part of the hassle but... It ain't nice. Overall, things from the hostel are overpriced so maybe look out for that. The place seems run down. The paint jobs were bad (paint chipping off because of water spots - no apparent mold there, so basically more aesthetics), the beds were a bit sketchy and the lockable storage capacities within the rooms were sparse (I needed to leave my stuff in the walkway bc the slots were all taken and once something freed up, it was not possible to lock). What annoyed me by far the most were the bathrooms.. Most of the time, the floors were completely drenched (partially because of the way the shower was set up), it was dirty and it smelled. I understand that this could be traced back to not-so-sociable guests but I feel like the place was also not cleaned often or properly, or at least enough for the hostel's reputation. So when it comes to staff, location and friendliness, I'd give them 5 stars. But the facilities did not match that.. I'd give them 2 stars there. Overall, if you can look past the facilities (maybe I just caught a bad few days there) and their general hustle, it is an acceptable place to stay.

  This place leaves a lot to be desired. As others have said, cleanliness is really questionable. I'm sure they clean but it seems that the young staff on hand hasn't been taught how to clean thoroughly. Fresh coat of paint would help. Place falling into disrepair - taps and locks broken or falling apart. Barely anywhere to hang your stuff in the bathroom which is highly impractical. No light in the room?? Impractical lockers with a deposit which considering how flimsy they are is annoying... So yeah the location is good, the tour is good, it does the job. I wouldn't stay longer than 1 or 2 nights

  The worst hostel on my way.My bed was so dirty and stinky. I could not sleep at night, used the light all night, affraid of bed bugs. Next day I have change the hotel. They cancel your reservation by booking, because the payment card does not work properly and pay by cash. So you can not give them review via booking. Be carrefull, absolutelly avoid and do not book this awful hostel !!!

  This hostel has honestly been the highlight of our trip to Can Tho. The rooms are clean and tidy (we had the double bunk bed). They are environmentally conscious (their water heater is solar powered) and the staff are just so friendly and helpful. They do tours to see the floating market for the best price in town and great quality. The atmosphere is lively too! Just grab a couple of beers and go up the rooftop, you won't regret it :)
