  We stayed at Magnolias Can Tho for a few nights in May 2026. You arrive and check in at the cafe desk (which was pleasantly air conditioned). Our room was clean and also had an air conditioner but you had to be in the room for the AC to work (all room power turns off when you take your card key with you). It did cool down quickly when we would get back though! The breakfast was yummy, the staff was friendly, the room was clean and conveniently located a walkable distance from the market. We would recommend this accommodation to others.

  Nice comfy mattress, separate shower, small bedroom with convenient layout, close to the market and the river. Nice reception +Cafe combination. One of the best for the price range.

  Good place to stay, with free breakfast. Given about 5 options for breakfast, mainly noodles or egg + bread. Coffee was good. The experience could have gone from good to great, and here are the little touches that would have made it great: 1) I asked for cut chillies for my noodle soup (tasty but looks plain in the photo) to have a little spiciness, but they only have chilli salt. 2) some chilli sauce or ketchup would make the egg + bread taste even nicer 3) coffee was served without a saucer or spoon, so we assumed we did not have to stir it (anyway, there was no spoon unless I used the big spoon from the noodle). When I got to the bottom of the cup, there was a layer of sweet condensed milk.

  The staff were so friendly and helpful! They answered all our questions and even booked our bus for us at no extra charge. They were always smiley and greeted us warmly every time we came through the door. The room was super clean and had everything we needed. The air-conditioning worked well, and daily room cleaning was offered if you wanted it. The free breakfast on the rooftop was such a lovely way to start the day and a big shoutout to their coffee, which was honestly some of the best we had in Vietnam! Only thing we recommend is to offer something a little extra for vegans on your breakfast menu like peanut butter and banana or jam. But the fruit was delicious that we were served each morning. The location was great too, just a short walk to the market and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. We’d 100% return if we came back to Can Tho. Highly recommend!

  Everything was fantastic! The location was perfect for walking to markets and the Mekong (and things at market here cheaper than Saigon). We had the king deluxe room which was so comfortable! There were only 3 choices when we were there for breakfast but everything was fresh and hot. Really enjoyed the black coffee (with sugar, spoon and saucer). The host organised a driver for one day for us as we wanted to go to the snake farm a couple of hours away. That saved us stress, being sure of having a ride back - and saved us 600,000 vnd compared to a grab ride. Also helped us organise free pick up the bus station for our Futa sleeper bus connection.

  I found myself in a small room and when I opened the window, I was met with a wall. I had planned to stay 3 days in this accommodation but I was forced to leave urgently.I understand that the owner did not want to refund me for the first night, but he did not refund me for the following night or for the three breakfasts I paid for. The only positive point is that the young person at reception is really very friendly.

  We decided to spend the night in Can Tho to get on the Mekong Delta early in the morning. It worked out so well. The rooms were clean and a good size. The hotel is close to the night market, the wharf & lots of food options. If you are looking for a great Mekong guide check out @toby_mekong_guide he is amazing, he also arranged our transportation from HCMC.

  I had a loft for a night at this hotel, stylish and comfy - there was even a kitchen. The guys at reception are exceptionally kind and helpful.
