  🏡 Just had the most AMAZING weekend at Mekong Farmstay! Human and his family treated me like their own - his mom's cooking was hands-down the best Vietnamese food I've had! 😍 Woke up surrounded by lush gardens, biked through the village, and took a sunrise boat tour to the floating market. That open-air bathroom felt so connected to nature! This is the authentic Delta experience I dreamed of! 🌿🚤

  If you are looking for an authentic stay in the Mekong Delta, this place is for you! Human is the most welcoming & kind host I have ever encountered. I will never forget my time here! :) The bungalows are basic but you have everything you need (good bed, nice bathroom underneath the palm trees, ventilator, good wifi). The location is perfect for a few days in the Mekong Delta, located in the suburbs of Can Tho, it’s also easy to reach from bus stations, etc. You can explore the canals by bike (for free) or let Human show you the floating market, glass noodle workshop & local market. There are lots of nice cafes & food spots nearby, just ask Human for recommendations & he will show you his local favorites! Human is truly the kindest host I‘ve ever encountered: I arrived late on my first day & was greeted by a delicious (veggie) hot pot cooked by his mother. When I got sick on my last day and had to stay an extra night, he was incredibly accommodating and made me feel genuinely cared for. As a female solo-traveler this is something I am deeply grateful for!

  Our stay at Mekong Farmstay was absolutely incredible, easily one of the highlights of our trip in Vietnam. Human, the host, was genuinely one of the kindest and most welcoming people we’ve met. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home. He greeted us with a fresh passion fruit juice, helped us find vegan food nearby for lunch, and even introduced us to what might be the best avocado smoothie in town! In the evening, his mum prepared a delicious hotpot, the food was amazing and felt very authentic. You can really feel the care and love put into everything here. The farmstay itself is exactly what we were looking for: peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. It’s the perfect place to relax and disconnect. We also did the floating market tour with Human, and it was hands down one of the BEST experiences of our 3 weeks in Vietnam. The food during the tour was once again fantastic, and he made sure to accommodate our dietary requirements perfectly. If you stay here, this tour is an absolute MUST!!! To top it all off, Human helped us organise our bus to the next destination, making everything smooth and stress-free. He is truly passionate about what he does and goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have a memorable stay. 5 stars ⭐ Highly recommended! Thank you so much, Human 🫶🏽

  If you are looking for a truly authentic experience in Can Tho without the tourist crowds, Mekong Farmstay is an absolute gem. Our host, Human, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The whole program started with an amazing afternoon boat trip through remote canals where regular tour agencies don't go, allowing us to enjoy the peace and see the real life in the Delta. After returning, we had a fantastic dinner, and Human even gave us a taste of various local drinks, which perfectly topped off the evening atmosphere. The next morning, he took us to the floating markets and then to local butchers and markets far off the tourist path—an incredibly powerful and raw experience. It wasn’t just about the locations, though; Human spent so much time with us, patiently explaining everything and answering all our questions, giving us a deep understanding of the area. He is a person with a big heart who clearly loves what he does. Thanks to him, our visit to Can Tho was the highlight of our trip. I highly recommend it to everyone!

  We had such a lovely stay at the Mekong Delta Farmstay! Our host who goes by the nickname Human was incredibly kind and gracious. He took us on two tours: one to a local island and another to the famous floating markets. Why we loved it: Easy Communication: Human speaks great English, which made it so easy to ask a ton of questions during the tours or while just hanging out at the property. Local Perks: He let us borrow bikes to explore the area and gave us some excellent local food recommendations. The Vibe: If you’re looking for an outdoorsy stay, this is it. It’s tucked just far enough off the main road to be nice and quiet. It’s also nice to stay with someone at their property from Can Tho I hope future guests enjoy this place as much as we did. It was a highlight in the Mekong Delta!

  If you're looking for a way to spend your time in the Mekong Delta, we highly recommend Mekong Farmstay with Human Hoang. We had two days filled with various attractions, including visits to a fish farm, coconut orchards, pomelo trees, and other exotic fruits. We also received a fish and duck massage (yes, 🦆 :P). Human also introduced us to Vietnamese cuisine. We left the farm tour stuffed. We saw a beautiful mandarin orange orchard rarely visited by white tourists. In the morning, we visited a floating market, a homemade rice noodle factory, and a city market where I can't even name 80 percent of the produce. Human rented bikes, which we used to ride around the area in the afternoon, and recommended a good seafood restaurant. These were two intense days. Human is a lovely host, helped us with all our needs, and even dropped us off and put us on the bus back to Saigon. He's very hospitable and always smiling. The cottages are well-equipped, with Human taking care of the little things: a hairdryer, coffee, mosquito nets, and everything is very clean. So, I highly recommend them.

  What a wonderful place to stay! Located on the edge if Can Tho, the farmstay has a serene water garden, a few simple rooms, and a place to eat. The host calls himself Human. He, his brother, and mother took great care of us. Human is so knowledgeable we called him Encyclopedia Vietnamica. Each delicious meal, cooked by his mother, ends with wonderful tropical fruit and tips from Human how to eat it. Take his advice and use the free bikes to cycle to the monastery or the cocoa bean farm (exceptional!). Or just cycle around the small roads in the neighbourhood and explore. There us even a small blacksmith making knives nearby. We did a private tour with Human to the Cai Rang floating market and the nearby street market. So much fun drinking coffee and eating pineapple on the river. A fantastic place with an exceptional host. You won't be disappointed!

  Human, the owner, is the absolutely best host ever! He is incredibly attentive to his guests and is always there to answer your questions, guide you or simply share his knowledge about Vietnam. The location for this gem is great…you’re in a small village close to the city but it feels quite rural. ||We stayed 4 nights and felt very spoiled the entire time. The meals, delicious and varied, are cooked by his mother and included in the price. The bungalows are basic but comfortable and clean and the mosquito nets are very welcome. There is a nice space outside each bungalow to relax. ||There is no air conditioning but we found the fans he provided sufficient. His free bikes are in good condition…the best we had in Vietnam. ||We don’t usually do a lot of guided trips, preferring to explore on our own, but we were SO glad we did one with Human to the floating markets, noodle factory and land market. It was awesome and personal . We were alone with him and the boatman, a family member, and Human is wealth of information and speaks English very well. We were so glad not to be on one of the bigger impersonal commercial boats! ||I can’t say enough good things about Human and this homestay. It was my favourite 4 days in Vietnam!
