I rented a scooter for 4 days. The process was easy and the bike worked perfectly. They even offer to pickup the bike from my hostel.

The rental company our hotel used had no more motorbikes available. They said manual was 140k and automatic 160k. I found motorbike rental can tho on google. Delivered to our hotel in less than 30 minutes 150k per day automatic. Gave them our license as deposit. 2 helmets and a raincoat provided. Also picked bike up from our hotel on the last day. Unfortunately our bike was a bit of a petrol guzzler . Other than that, would use and recommend this company.

A bit far from my hotel. For 3 days I was charged 170/day. This is the most I had to pay in Vietnam and I rent all the time. Was not easy to find scooters in Can Tho. I had the give my passport and he asked for international license. The bike was fine and the WhatsApp communication was excellent. But to $$

He wanted my Passport and 5 Million D as a deposit. I think this is very Strange. Communication was very difficult

Wanted to keep our passport to rent bikes? Why not just take a photo? I'm not giving my only way to leave the country to someone just to rent a bike?

Wanted too keep a hard copy of our passports, and pay first. My passport is the only way to leave this country. We have rented motorbikes in vietnam atleast 15 times and no one ever asked to keep our passports.
