Had a really wonderful trip around Can Tho and the Mekong delta. My friend and I opted for the Peaceful private boat ride without a guide. It was exactly what we had hoped for! Our driver was very friendly and explained a few things we were interested in, and even provided water and some fresh fruit. This was a really great way to relax and see the area and I highly recommend this tour! :)

We had an amazing time on the Cai Rang Floating Market tour with Sophia (Ánh). She is incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and always smiling, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Her positive energy and sense of humor kept the tour fun from start to finish. Sophia was very attentive and made sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the trip. We learned a lot about the local culture while having a great time. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a knowledgeable, cheerful, and passionate guide in Can Tho!

We had such a fantastic experience on this tour, being guided by Cory. Breakfast (ho tieu) and coffee at the floating market was so good and well worth the early start. While the floating market is smaller than it used to be, we still saw goods being traded by the wholesalers and got glimpses into life on the Mekong Delta. A cooking class down the quieter canals was fun and the cakes we made were super tasty and served with fruit and tea. The highlight for me was getting to visit a family who live on a boat on the river. This was such a special experience and really put this unique way of life into perspective. Cory was the perfect guide for it all - funny, insightful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour if you are coming to Can Tho.

First of all, our tour guide, Sunny, was absolutely exceptional. His English was clear, fluent, and easy to understand, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and welcomed, and throughout the day he explained everything with patience and enthusiasm. Whenever we had questions, he took his time to answer them thoroughly. You could really feel that he cares about his guests and takes pride in sharing the local culture. He is polite, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely pleasant to be around—truly one of the best guides I’ve ever had. The tour itself began at the floating market, but what made it stand out from all the other tours I researched was that it didn’t stop there. Many tours only take you around the market for a short time and then bring you back, but this one went far beyond the typical experience. After exploring the market, we continued deeper into the local area, walking through quiet paths and visiting a nearby village. We even had the chance to step inside a family home that has been passed down through eight generations. Meeting this lovely family was one of the highlights of the day. They were warm, welcoming, and eager to share stories about their life, traditions, and history. There was absolutely no rush, no pressure, and no sense of being pushed through a program. It felt authentic, calm, and respectful. Another memorable part of the tour was the cooking demonstration. Sunny showed us how to prepare a simple but delicious local dish using a traditional clay pot over a wood-burning fire. Watching him cook in this traditional way made the experience feel very real and connected to the culture. The aromas, the sounds of the fire, and the relaxed setting made it such a special moment. And of course, the dish itself tasted wonderful—fresh, simple, and full of flavor. After that, we visited another family who still live and work directly on their boat, making a living in the same way their ancestors did. Seeing how they maintain this lifestyle was both fascinating and humbling. It gave us a deeper appreciation for the traditions that continue to thrive here, even as the world changes around them. Overall, the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. I can honestly say that this was the best tour I have ever taken, and I’ve been on many tours across different countries over the years. What made it so special was not only the variety of activities and the beauty of the places we visited, but also the genuine human connection, the relaxed pace, and the feeling of truly discovering something authentic rather than a standard tourist attraction. Once again, I have to highlight how incredible Sunny was as a guide. His professionalism, friendliness, and deep knowledge made this tour unforgettable. I highly, highly recommend both the tour and Sunny himself. If you are looking for a meaningful, personal, and enriching experience, this is absolutely the one to choose

Today's trip to the Mekong Delta was truly something special. We saw a floating market, rowed boats along canals where the crowds of tourists don't go, and learned how to make special pancakes on a real fire. Then we visited a floating home. Our guide Sunny took us around the Mekong Delta in an original and fun way and truly deserves all the best. I highly recommend a visit to the Mekong Delta with Sunny.

We booked the tour at Nguyen Ngoc Quyen as a family with 2 children and it was really very nice. We exchanged a lot of profound content, laughed and enjoyed. She never rushed us and shared a lot of great and valuable content about the Vietnamese. I'm not exaggerating when I say that our best tour guide had it so far. Even with the children she helped where it was possible, whether it was to feed the big one or to entertain the baby. Thanks for everything!

We had a wonderful tour yesterday at Lung Ngoc Hoang Nature Reserve with Mekong by Local. Our guide, Sophie, was incredibly friendly. She shared many interesting facts about the area, along with fun and entertaining anecdotes that made the experience even more enjoyable. It was lovely to walk through the reserve at a relaxed pace and truly enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of nature. We reached the duck farm, which was a very nice stop along the way, and then refreshed ourselves with a delicious fresh fruit and fresh juice. After the break, we also enjoyed a boat tour along the river, where we could further appreciate the beauty and calm of the surrounding nature. Overall, it was a relaxing and very pleasant experience. Highly recommended, especially thanks to Sophie’s passion and great energy!

I did a tour of the floating markets, a boat ride and walk through the countryside, and a cooking class with this company through my accomodation. It lasted from around 5:30~11:30. We had delicious noodles and coffee on the boat while exploring the markets at their busiest time. Then, we went through a boat ride through a smaller offshoot and walked to a homestay where we had a cooking class. We then returned to the city via boat. Sophia was a great tour guide with lots of fun facts and jokes! She made sure to point out all the fruit trees and plants and answered all of our questions.
