My husband and I just had dinner here, and I’m writing this review immediately after leaving because I genuinely want to support this restaurant. It’s such a lovely place with a great atmosphere and vibe. The food is delicious — authentic Italian cuisine with bold flavors that may taste a little stronger than what Vietnamese people are usually used to, but it’s very good and feels true to its origin. The owner is incredibly friendly and made me feel that he runs this business with genuine care and passion, not just for profit. It’s a must-try when you visit Con Dao — this place deserves to go viral.

May 2026 Love it. Diavolo pizza - taste is sensational. Good bread, great sauce, quality meat. Look a bit small on arrival but worth it. The yam 🍠 gnocchi was also great. Caprese salad - big fat ripe tomatoes, good cheese. Sangiovese wine very tasty and served at the right temperature. Great service.

We had dinner here last night and had a very enjoyable evening. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, making us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, with well-prepared Italian dishes full of flavor, and the cocktails were excellent as well. A well-deserved five-star review from us. If we return to Con Dao in the future, we would be happy to visit again.

The best experience so far in terms of Italian food and Pasta. The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere surrounded by a small garden of spices and plants. The charcuterie with cheese board was an authentic delight, with Italian cheese and salami. Both pasta were on point, and the pizza is completely fresh (dough and ingredients) and tastefully - the perfect Italian way, you can even see them making the pizza in a wood oven. The beer selection is also a plus! Probably the only place with an IPA and Stout. We just chilled there for 2h, super attentive staff and always taking care of our needs. We also enjoyed a very informative conversation with Enrico, since we are planning a several country trip and he's been living and traveling in southeast Asia for a couple of years now. Will for sure drop by again during our 7 day stay on the island.

When you need a break from Vietnamese food, Riso Amaro Roof Terrace is the best choice! Authentic and delicious Italian cuisine, great service, and a very welcoming host Enrico. I had the Linguine alle vongole and my husband the Gnocchi Yam — both were absolutely flawless (unfortunately, I didn’t manage to take any photos) :)

As I said to Enrico, the owner of the place, it is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants that I have tasted. The food was amazing and the decor, the vibe transport you in Italy. Even if Con Dao is a beautiful gem, it feels like you are not in Vietnam anymore! The owner is very nice, love to talk and make sure that everything was fine for you. I highly recommend to make a stop there!!!

This is a place worth returning to again and again. Rooftop. Authentic Italian dishes, incredibly precise flavors – the best on the island. The owner, Enrico, is happy to chat and share his tips on must-visit hidden gems around the area. I recommend his signature gnocchi with pears in Gorgonzola sauce – absolutely unforgettable. The aroma of freshly baked pizza fills the air, adding to the experience. Don’t miss his own homemade Limoncello. And the little secret surprise… there’s Sambuca here – a rare find on the island!

Lovely rooftop restaurant on top of Takai Mart. I must say the carbonara was just like in Italy. The risotto was a bit below my expectations, but overall I still recommend visiting this place and giving it a try.
