Con Dao National Park is a super chill place to visit. The views are beautiful, the air is fresh, and it’s not too crowded. Perfect if you just want to relax and enjoy nature. Not many fancy services, but that’s kind of the charm! I luv it so much ✨❤️‍🩹

A place to visit. Buy tickets 50.000 each from the office. Recommend walking up to the entrance, about 300m (like the staff recommends aswell). There are aggressive monkeys where the trail begin and you gove your tickets. I would not want monkey shit on my mopeds seat as we saw.. Lots of fauna, saw bats, monkeys, countless lizards, couple of Shakespeare, squirrels etc. Keep your eyes off the road as well to spot them. The first t section comes to the cave/altar. The second place where you can turn is ancient tree, take a look it is really close. And a Y section to waterfall and beach and right to a beach, there is also a restaurant. The waterfall is not that remarkable during dry season (omg who would have guessed.....) but on rainy season i bet it is beautiful. Overall a nice easy hike with alot to see.

It is a good place to visit when it is the hot time in Con Dao. It is pretty cool inside the jungle. The entrance fee is 50k per person. The trail is easy to go and not too dangerous. My son can do a short distance.

There is an official entrance (ticket booth with big National Park signage) that is not on the map about 250 North on the same road as the visor centre. You can buy tickets there at the booth and walk up to 3km out to a cave, beach and waterfall and marked stone paths. The cave is a small religious monument. There are 2 beaches and we only went to one (Bang Beach) which had nice looking water but was stoney with no real shade. The waterfall is weather dependent of course, it was completely dry when we went. It's very hot in the forest but we saw lots of wildlife: at least two giant black squirrels (look for them sleeping on horizontal branches), many other black squirrels (but not sure if these were the same, they had smaller tails and were full black), a monitor lizard (about 75cm in length), a troop of monkeys, and many others smaller lizards and birds (and possibly a smaller primate / mammal. We also unexpectedly encountered wild boar which scared the life of us. We heard them and then saw them scatter. At least 10 individuals with several youngsters. The group of monkeys that we encountered at the entrance became aggressive so best not to linger or access your backpacks around them. You can ride a scooter easily to the entrance either by going all the way around the island, or by cutting through from the town past the national park visit centre. The walk can be challenging in the heat and humidity. We were sweating buckets by the end of it. The descent to the beach and subsequent climb back up was hard work.

A great place to hike! The path going to your desired destination is clean and easy to pass through. I suggest going in groups because there are not a lot of people that trek this place. Make sure that you bring enough water, phone battery, and mobile data. There are are 3 place you can hike. Please refer to the brochure at the ticket office.

May 2026 Lock your bike seat! Cool macaque trying to rob motorbikes, testing each seat to see if it waslocked. Then dumpster diving. What a hussler.

Nice placeee. We took half-day turtle tour from 6- 10am. We had a chance to release the turtles to the sea. The snorkeling sites they offer were nice too. We saw a shipwreck and lots of fish, most of the corals are dead tho 😢 highly recommend this tour when you visit the national park

not worth it to be honest. we expected something more than just paved roads that lead to rocky and dirty beaches. the hike itself was okay, but there was not really anything beautiful to see on the way, except some monkeys and lizards. You can't swim cause the first beach is full of rocks and shallow water and the second beach is the same, but even worth. Also, a lot of trash gets washed up the shore. For a national park with entrance fee that should be better maintained. the walk up to the cave is not worth it, it's just a tiny cave with an altar and Jesus. the waterfall stream was non existent, but maybe it's better in wet season. I wouldn't go again. no nice views, no nice beaches, and just lots of sweat.
