  Amazing place. It's a big resort, but the staff can make you feel at home. Our room was spacious and well-maintained. The views from the balcony are excellent and you can hear the soothing sound of the waves as well. The staff was always ready to help when we needed something, and even offered their help proactively. The hotel has a nice beach. That's a big plus, because if you stay in the center of Con Dao, you will realize it's very difficult to find a relaxing beach on the island. Go for a swim and watch the mountains towering behind the hotel. What a humbling feeling! Underwater they have the best-looking corals I've seen on Con dao and some fish. Their pool is huge and clean, great for swimming. My only complaint is that they should play Pink Floyd by the pool as well, not just in the restaurant. They offer free airport transfer. The buffet breakfast has plenty of options. even local dishes like bánh xèo and lots of fresh fruits. You also don't have to worry about going to the center for dinner every day. Their set menus for 2 person are huge and worth the price. I recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxing time.

  This is our third stay at this hotel. Our family especially loves the private beach that appears during low tide and the infinity pool. The hotel is located away from the town, so you can enjoy a peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere and feel like you have the place all to yourselves. It’s also great to rent an electric bike in town and explore the area, experiencing the local vibe. Thanks to Nick’s thoughtful care, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. All the staff were friendly and full of energy, which made our stay even more pleasant. We were also happy to meet a staff member who had lived in Japan and spoke Japanese—it made us feel very welcome and at home. We wish him and the entire team continued happiness.

  We stayed here at R.223 for 2 nights and were very happy and pleased with their services, friendly and helpful staff and as said, Nick was really very nice and friendly to everyone. Abundant menu of breakfast and they changed breakfast menu daily. Our room is big and clean. Swimming pool is also big and nice and easy to walk to the beautiful beach. They are on the process to build the pool bar now. It could be better if they use wooden or bamboo to decorate. Overall, we rate this beautiful resort 5 star and will surely come back here in the near future. Tung & Lai

  The hotel is placed in a quite area: is a recent construction, beside the reception there is a big area with 2 billiard tables. on the opposite side the breakfast area and in the middle bar-restaurant. It's a huge open space where a relaxing music is playing at the correct volume and very bright with large windows with access to the swimming pool area. The pool is so big where you can easily swim with separate area for kids. Over the pool, there is the beach. My room 433 prfectly cleaner, was so big, with double view side and sea view with large windows and a huge balcony with comfortable chairs where you can enjoy the view in tranquillity sipping s drink for a whell stocked mini bar well refrigerated: a daily appointment for me! Bathroom too has a big area with either bathrube and shower. The bed is kind size, very comfortable. The food is good quality and the personal is lovely considering that their english is often beginner level but they are so efficient with translator so is not difficult communicate with them. All of them are kind and lovely as per their culture. Nick the manager, is an absolute positive vibes man! He speaks english very well and has a spontaneous guest attention including a huge problem solving ability. In my case i had a problem with booking due to my fault and he solved it. Moreover, i had a problem with my back and he took me to the hospital for x ray check assisting me in each phase i have been there treating me like a brother: LOVELY, thank you for everything you have done for me. Pick up from/to airport was included and well appreciated. Scooter/bike rent service is also provided. For my expectation: 5 stars!

  Orson is located above a stunning bay with a pristine beach, excellent ocean swimming conditions and snorkelling opportunities at both ends of the bay. The hotel has good facilities, great food and friendly, helpful staff. Everything is clean and comfortable. Rooms with an ocean view have large balconies with clear views to the ocean, comfortable beds and a spacious area. The bathroom was clean and functional. Nick is the heart of this resort. His engaging, entertaining personality and impeccable attention to guest service and comfort are commendable. No request is too complex, and Nick will offer options and suggestions for activities and places to visit around Con Dao. He is a gem. He also trainsxand mentors local young people in hospitality skills, and integrates this seamlessly into the guest experience. The infinity pool at the resort is lovely, with sun loungers and complimentary swimming towels available for guests. Breakfasts are great value for money (western and Asian options, and a wide variety of fruits) and guests have the options of eating in the light and spacious breakfast dining area, or outside under the trees. We will definitely visit Orson again for a nature-immersion, fresh air escape for Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you Nick, Alex and staff for a memorable and relaxing experience.

  The hotel is about 9 km away from the Con Dao town. It is located at a small bay with great sand beach. If you swim a bit out you can see corals if you have swimming googles. The hotel is great to chill out, but for the attractions you best rent a e scooter for 200k at the hotel front desk. The hotel is clean and personnel kind. In particular we want to thank Nick who is the great spirit for this hotel, whirls around all the time and tries to solve all guests requests. We were happy to stay with you! Breakfast is nice as well. Some small suggestions for the future: the coffee could be upgraded toward good brewed Vietnam coffee instead of this instant coffee. Some hotel facilities would benefit from maintenance like the balcony door which sometimes could not be opened after shut. But in general the hotel is a great choice! We would like to come again!f

  Snorkelling in the bay at the Orson Resort was absolutely stunning! We got to see sooo many different species and sizes of fish, and coral of different colours. The colour of the ocean here is magical, and the see-through water was just beautiful.Although it is about a 10-15 minutes' drive to Con Dau town, it is absolutely worth it. It is easy to rent a bike to discover the island by yourself, or to go and buy snacks somewhere.The food at the resort is delicious and they offer a big variety during breakfast too. The pool is a huge plus and is very well maintained! Pool towels are available for everyone. We loved having the pool and the sea both!Staff were friendly and helpful although most do not speak English. A huge shoutout to Nick, the manager, who greeted us every morning with a big smile and who was always willing to help provide us with info!Orson Resort was quiet, in an exceptionally beautiful setting, and everything we wanted. Thank you!

  We love Con Dao, and love this hotel, but a few changes could make it better. This was our 2nd stay, and we would not stay anywhere else on this island. Since our 1st trip 2 yrs ago they hired Nick. He was great! DEFINITELY a good addition to their staff. We had a few problems, and Nick happily took care of them. Super friendly and fun to be around. We loved Nick.|This could be a great hotel with a few changes. They have an amazing pool, the best pool of our 33 day Vietnam Thailand trip, but they need more loungers. They were taken before 8 am every day. We had to go down at 7 am and lay towels to reserve every day. There are 2 pool areas and plenty of room to add 20 or more new loungers. There's no reason to not have enough!|We loved our room. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed, amazing view, but the window was always dirty. The most amazing view, and you're looking at it through a super dirty window. And it wasn't just a days mist, it was total lack of cleaning. Also, the balcony (and building itself) needs to be cleaned and painted. |Breakfast was great every day. So many choices and great quality. |They had scooter rental, but their scooters could use maintenance. We had to trade ours twice. Make sure you get a good one. |Again: We really love staying here, and will come back, but a little effort could make it a great hotel.
