  Very good Homestay ! The room are clean, you have an anti mosquito sheet. You can rent motor bikes 150k, do laundries 40k per kg. Uyen is very kind and will provide you anything you need. The hostel is well placed in the city to go to the restaurant or feel its vibe.

  Really lovely and beautiful place! As a solo traveller I stayed at the dorm and had a really great stay. The host is very friendly and helpful and always down for a small chat. Also the location is very nice, it's within walking distance of a lot of good food places and nice beaches. For the dorm it might be nice to bring some earplugs just in case, as it's also next to the street. But overall I can really recommend this place! :)

  Our family felt very comfortable. The hostess went out of her way to make sure our guests had a great stay. She cooked excellent food at reasonable prices. When I was feeling poorly, she looked after me. The location is great. Surrounded by good restaurants and bars with the beach close by. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. They have a great atmosphere. The many plants in the courtyard create a cozy atmosphere. Only the fish in the stream should be released into the wild. Thank you for a great stay. We recommend it with a clear conscience.

  We loved our stay at Uyen’s house! A very relaxed atmosphere, with a beautiful garden and cute decor. Uyen was helpful and gave us lots of tips. The best place to stay on the island! We will hopefully be back again. Cảm ơn ❤️

  The place is located in the centre of the city, and it looks very nice and cozy and the decorations are awesome. There are plenty of books in different languages. The owner is very nice and accommodating and always keen to help. She is a very nice person. You can do laundry and rent a motorbike for 150k/day. I got a bed in the dorm room which was okay. The bathrooms are 2 and are also always clean. I think coffee and juices are included because she didn't make me pay for anything. On the downside, in the dorm, you get what you pay for: you're sharing the room with 10 people, who may talk, walk, use their phones and keep their bed lights on until late-ish (23), and wake up very early (5). They also always left the lights of the bathroom on. But these things are of course not the owner's fault. It's also pretty full of mosquitoes.

  My daughter and I stayed 4 nights in our own room (not the dorm) in September. We had the middle room, although next time, I would pay extra for the front room, which had a nice view through its glass wall.||The most notable feature of the hotel was the host. Uyen knew who we were as soon as we came in, and she treated us like friends. She was very sweet. She took her time with us. She was quick when we called her and very polite. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants. When she heard that my daughter had a cold, she offered to make her some porridge (the common home treatment for colds used by Vietnamese mothers, like chicken soup). Uyen made our visit more personal and memorable.||The rooms, including the dining room downstairs, had a rustic appearance. Our room was in that "Vietnamese-slightly-dilapidated" state, but it was fully functional. The sink stopper was a bit futsy, but that was it. I contrast this to other lodgings where things don't fully work (broken toilet seats, weak a/c, dim lighting, lack of space, cheap shower heads, etc.) In my opinion, the room decor was charming and neither artificial or sterile.||There were lots of useful amenities. Slippers to wear when we leave our dirty shoes outside. A standing fan. Enough room for 2 adults to spread out their luggage, with enough space left to move around in. Outlets on both sides of the bed so we didn't have to run cords across the floor. 2 night tables. 2 lamps with switches in easy reach while lying in bed. Sturdy umbrellas for us to use in the sometime pouring rain. A rack with plenty of hangers to dry our clothes. It's so useful that my 20-yo called it "awesome". Great free breakfasts and Vietnamese coffee that Uyen made to order. (I liked all the breakfasts and coffees that we had, and I enjoyed them more than any breakfast buffets I've ever had at other hotels.)||We had full control of the a/c. Some places disable the a/c when you're not in. I know they do this because some guests leave the a/c running all day without being there, but I find the practice annoying. I try to not be wasteful but still avoid waiting for the room to cool when I return, by turning the thermostat up 27C when I go out. I hope that was enough.||Next door was a karaoke place. I wasn't thrilled about that, but there was never a sound from it. Maybe during the high season, there would be. The only music was brief and came from an exercise class in the park across the street. It didn't scream "rude people" and wasn't loud enough bother me. The rain on the roof was loud when it rained hard. I actually enjoyed that a lot and cherished it as part of my travel experience, but my daughter didn't.||There was motorbike rental on the premise for a very reasonable price. (Uyen very patiently showed me how to operate the vehicle and advised me on how much fuel to buy for our planned distance.) It ended up being cheaper than hiring one of the many vans around town and gave us much more freedom—and great stories to tell because we had to ride through some very heavy rain.||If you want a high-end place where everything works perfectly, this is not quite it. Otherwise, I highly recommend Uyen's house. I look forward to staying here when I visit Con Son island again.

  The rooms are quite nice, lots of plants. The breakfast was good, too, although we were served instant coffee. |However, there is virtually no insulation, so you hear everything from the hallway, the other rooms and especially the karaoke bar (which was inanely loud!). Furthermore, the bathroom room did not close, but had to be left open. |Altogether, not worth the money in our opinion.

  Uyen's House is a charming boutique hotel and hostel. The many plants and trees gives the place a nice vibe. The shared space and the private rooms are nicely decorated in a lovely vintage style. The beds are hard, but we've seen it in many hotels, and seems to be the standard in Vietnam😉 It's located right in the city center and as it isn't very well isolated you can hear the street, people singing karaoke and the street dogs once in a while, but it has its own charm and it feels very homie 🤗 Thu, who's managing the hotel is the sweetest! She makes a simple, fruity breakfast and nice coffee and juices, all fresh from the market. She can also help you renting a scooter, helps with laundry and gives advice for nice restaurants, both the more fancy places and nice street food places. Her English is limited to the basics, but you get a long way with her through Google translate 🤗 Thank you for a lovely longterm stay (4 weeks!). We would love to come back again in the near future! ❤️
