  Jack was an excellent guide on our hike through the National Forest to the beach. His English is good and he arranged everything from the transportation, walking sticks, snacks and interesting indepth information about the jungle along the way. He was considerate and patient w us as we are in our late 60s and mid 70s. We continued to run into him during our stay and he was so friendly and helpful all the way.

  An extraordinary experience! Kallee is the best guide ever! She's passionate and taught me so much about the flora, fauna, and Con Dao Island Life. I truly enjoyed the time I spent with her. The owner of the Lighthouse is also extremely kind: My credit card was swallowed by an ATM, but she managed to retrieve it for me on a Sunday before my departure. I fully recommend!

  We LOVED our time with Van and Huong - they were amazing guides who were patient, friendly and extremely knowledge about the area and the history of Côn Đảo. We did 2 tours - the City Tour and then a hike in the National Park a couple days later - both experiences were great! It is evident that this company has a deep love for Côn Đảo and is proud of the place they call home - and so they should be as it is absolutely spectacular! For the City Tour we missed the main cemetery as we had not brought proper clothing that would be respectful to wear so if you want to visit the cemetery make sure to bring longer pants/dress and something to cover your shoulders. We had only brought flip flops on vacation and managed to do the hike through the National Park OK (although proper shoes would be highly recommended). Our only suggestion for the hike would be to bring lots of water. REALLY great company with great people in an incredible place.

  THIS IS NOT ONLY A COFFEE & BEER SHOP Drinks menu is local price : only 25vnd , 35vnd... fruitjuice, traditonal coffee , cold beer... inside Acient house... Local people is so friendly to share all infomation about Con Dao island and you can get THE EXPERIENCES LOCAL ENGLISH SPEAKING GUIDE here. They can take you out for snorkelling, hikking, historical tour around the island. HIGHLY TO RECOMMEND !!!

  We did a turtle nesting tour “3-in-1” with Lighthouse Con Dao. The experience was fantastic: the program was very full, the guides spoke English and were really passionate about giving informations about the turtles and the island.

  Despite the very difficult talk with the owner when booking the tour (she speaks very little English and is not really doing all her work to ease the client workload), the tour itself was wonderful! Kitty, our tour guide, is super friendly, speaks good English, knows a lot about the trip and sounds passionate. Would recommend! Even more during turtle season and clear sea.

  Disappointing tour and disrespectful handling of criticism We booked a snorkeling tour here, which unfortunately turned out to be a complete waste of time. Looking back, I wouldn't have taken this tour even if it had been free. Condition of the reefs: The corals in the visited area are approximately 90% dead, resulting in very few fish to be seen. While the company is obviously not responsible for the coral bleaching, a transparent heads-up about the actual condition of the spots would have been mandatory before booking. Deviation from the program: The tour was advertised as visiting two islands. In reality, there was only one real stop; the second "stop" took place in front of the main town's pier, which in no way qualifies as an island visit. Customer service: My complaints were met with total indifference and lack of insight. I was told that "everyone here does it this way" and that I "should have informed myself better" since I didn't explicitly ask. Conclusion: A disrespectful way to treat customers and zero transparency regarding the actual conditions on-site. I strongly advise against using this provider.
