  Couldn't be happier with my experience here. I don't have an IDP/motorcycle license, and was able to rent an electric scooter that accommodated both my partner and me (she didn't want to drive herself). It had very good range and was able to go just about as fast as any other motorbike on the island — 47-48 km/h on Sport mode and 30 km/h on Eco mode. This enabled us to see everything on the island and travel around it three times over in the span of two days. Monkey Boy was incredibly kind and attentive via WhatsApp. I was even late to pick up the bike and he patiently waited at the meetup spot. When we requested a battery replacement on the second day (a charger was provided, but I couldn't find anywhere to charge at the hotel), he sent someone over and had our battery replaced free of charge within 15 minutes of confirming our location (just five minutes after saying he was on his way) while we were eating lunch — and we never even had to go to the bike. Same with the bike return; Monkey Boy found where we parked it while we were having dinner and prioritized our convenience above all. He truly went above and beyond in making our experience in Con Dao as beautiful as it was.

  Amazing service! They speak english and Monkey boy is a friendly guy. We took a big electric scooter, it goes max 50km/h but you dont need more as 50 is the speed limit everywhere oj the island. We were 2 on the scooter and could easily do 50-80km on one charge if yoy drive ~30km/h and a bit less if you drive 50km/h constantly, but thats enough to dona tour around the island. Thr good thing is that you dont need a license for this kind of scooter. The service includes a battery replacement. They will come and replace no matter where you are, even overnight in your hotel so we didnt need to worry about the battery at all. Pricing was very transparent and after returning the scooter Monkey boy even offered a free ride back to my hotel, which was very kind of him.

  Great experience with the electric scooter rental. Everything we agreed on with the owner was exactly as promised—no hidden conditions or unpleasant surprises. The approach was very friendly, communication was fast, and the price was more than fair. We needed the scooter a bit longer, and it was no problem to extend the rental by half a day. When we sent a photo showing the battery was empty, the owner reacted immediately and delivered a fully charged scooter within an hour. That level of service is hard to find. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for a reliable scooter at a good price with a professional and helpful owner.

  Got a 2 person electrical motorcycle, that doesn't require license. The process to rent was easy, starting the communication via WhatsApp and if we had any questions we could reach via WhatsApp. The bike was reliable, easy to use and allowed a smooth and fun ride carrying two people around the island. They can also switch the battery at night if required. Thanks a lot monkey boy!

  We were SO happy with our electric scooter rental here! The scooter came in perfect condition, and was a reasonable price. The battery drains relatively easily, especially if you’re driving up hills to explore the island. No matter the time of day, the owner made sure to charge our battery to 100% or provide a spare battery within an hour so we could use the bike to our will. Excellent, professional and speedy service overall and we would 1000% recommend for anyone looking to rent a scooter on the island!

  It was an absolute pleasure being a customer of Happy Island Vehicles. My wife and I rented a Vinfast Feliz e-bike for three days. It was in excellent condition and performed flawlessly. We didn't break any speed records when going up the steep inclines on Con Dao's roads, but, it was adequate. The brakes worked very well. When the battery meter showed less than 50%, we contacted Monkey Boy, as he prefers to be called, via Zalo. Someone from his team came to our hotel while we slept and installed a fresh battery so we were ready to go again the next morning. On one day, when we still had 60% battery charge remaining, we didn't bother to advise Monkey Boy. But, to our pleasant surprise, the next morning we found the battery meter showing 100%. Someone from the company had shown up and provided a fresh battery anyway. Great communications, great product, great service! We highly recommend Happy Island Vehicles Station.

  We had the best experience renting a scooter here. Reasonable price and ‘monkey boy’ was so helpful and kind! Scooter was in perfect condition and he even sent tours and activities going on in the island everyday!! Would recommend to anyone and everyone

  I rented a scooter here and had a great experience, but I accidentally lost my phone. One of the staff members—I'm not sure of his name but everyone called him “Monkey Boy”—went above and beyond to find my phone. By the time he found it, I was already back in Ho Chi Minh City, but he still made every effort to return it to me through a friend. He never asked for anything in return, and his kindness truly touched me. Because of him, my impression of Vietnam has become even more positive. I want to visit Vietnam more often now, and when I return to Con Dao, I’ll definitely contact him again. This place is affordable, friendly, and offers excellent service. Highly recommended!
