A gem for coffee lovers, this farm is a charming one and its small scale allows it to feel intimate. They cultivate many arabica beans, even some rare gesha cultivars. Chan, the one who leads our tasting session, is clearly an expert in his craft, answering questions from deeply enthused coffee enthusiasts swiftly. The tasting session helped us understand the marking schemes for coffee beans while also understand the process of coffee from plant to cup. Even if I’ve learnt a thing or two about coffee before, I feel like my knowledge is amplified by the session.

We did the farm tour with Amy - and were lucky to be the only ones at that time so got a private tour! As huge fans of specialty coffee, we had the most amazing time, and appreciated being able to ask as many questions as we wanted, with Amy fully explaining absolutely everything about the coffee farming process - all of the science behind the different types of beans, how they get their flavour notes, about different growing conditions, and the differences between arabica beans and robusta. We then got to see examples of all the different coffee plants they grow on the farm, and learn how to identify them, as well as the differences between them, before returning to the farm to learn about the different methods of processing, and see the beans at different stages of fermenting/drying. We were given an excellent cup of hand brew coffee at the start (and a little mini class on the method Amy used) as well. The farm is a little way out of Dalat but it is SO worth a visit for coffee fans - we learnt so much more than we were expecting, and the bonus of the views from the farm across the hills was stunning! Thanks so much for a great afternoon ☕️

Son gave us a fantastic introduction to farming amd processing coffee before it goes to the roasting process. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the topic. We did not expect to be so engaged or to learn so much. What a pleasure it was.

Had an awesome visit to Son’s Coffee Farm. A little off the beaten track but well worth the effort getting there. I’ve learnt a lot about coffee from this visit. The different coffee plants the fermentation and the roasting process where I got to roast beans to my taste and take them home all included in the price. I recommend a visit to see Son at his farm and roast beans to your liking

We went to the farm to get excursion on coffee fields, but experienced coffee school. The owner of the farm thought us how the coffee is made, what is responsible of giving coffee its flavour, and much more. We tasted coffee, special tea and also got our hands on tasting different banana species. This was really nice experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Nice local coffee farm in Da Lat. They usually run group tours at specific times, but since it was our last day and we couldn’t wait for the next group, we arranged a small “private” tour instead. The experience started with a coffee tasting, which was a great introduction. After that, they explained the whole coffee process in detail, showed us how coffee grows, and also how the beans are processed after harvesting. Very informative, relaxed and personal experience. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend visiting this farm. ☕🌱
