A few misconceptions in previous reviews so hopefully this one clear up issues others mentioned. The gym accepts foreigners though it is a dingy hood gym so don’t expect AC, free water or any frills. Equipment is old but functioning and cleaned regularly. At 20K a day you can’t really expect more. Vietnamese are shy but curious people so yes, you might be stared at but it’s not anything other than curiosity and smiling and saying hello makes a big difference. My Vietnamese is rusty but I talked to the staff and there are a few gym rules that they struggle to convey to foreigners which is where most of the previous issues seem to stem from so a few notes: 1. They don’t allow outside shoes in the gym so please bring a clean pair or slippers. Most locals go barefoot which is actually normal in most hood gyms worldwide 2. They close for lunch from 11-2pm but it was a week of me working out before he had the courage to ask me to leave hahaha 3. While most locals don’t, they would prefer it if people brought a towel and wiped down after they are done which is just good gym manners. Personally I like it here because it’s only people who come to sweat and work out, no selfies or people lounging on machines playing with their phones. That said, if you want a more “Western” gym I recommend Gym Tai Nguyen or Wonderland Gym where you’ll pay at least double.

As a foreigner everybody was super nice! One time training costs 30.000 vnd, which is very fair. The devices are in a solid condition and you find almost everything you need. big recommendation!!!

Nice little hood gym. Good price value, quite likely best in da lat(80 cents for a one time visit), equipment is alright. Lots of free weights and some basic machines. They look pretty used but still get cleaned regularly I think. There are toilets and showers. Not really luxury but quite clean aswell. They sell some drinks. Staff is friendly.

A place to get something in while on the road. I really enjoyed the vive here. All young, energetic and super friendly guys. Not a place if you are looking for something fancy and up to date machines but if you're looking for a place to get a quick workout while visiting the city, it is the place. Btw, 30k for a day pass, you would be a fool if you expect a fancy facility

Let me be honest, this gym is pretty bad. Many of the machines are awkward to use, there's zero gym etiquette, all the material is all over the place. BUT. It's also ridiculously, extremely cheap. So I cannot really complain. Price to quality ratio is great simply because the price is so low that it is ridiculous. It allows to do an okey workout, particularly upper body.
