I don’t generally leave reviews but I was extremely impressed with this hostel. Definitely stay here when visiting Da Lat, SO good and you will not find better value for the price anywhere in Vietnam. The staff are amazing, shoutout to my queen Anh, she works so hard, always with a smile and she remembers people’s names ❤️ The front desk organized a taxi for a group of us to share for the day to visit attractions for a very fair price and they also have lots of good tours to choose from. Family dinner is also amazing, 90k VND for LOTS of delicious Vietnamese food and it’s a great way to connect with other travelers :) They have happy hour each night where you can get 2 giant cocktails (like buckets) for 200k which is perfect for a pregame before visiting bars etc. The beds are so comfy, soft duvets and pillows, and you have your own little cabinet inside each bed which can be used as a locker. The rooms also have air conditioning which is amazing for it being $1-2 per night. Showers with hot water, curtains on the beds, and even a filtered tap for drinking water (a rare luxury in Southeast Asia!) Tip: I really recommend the 12 bed dorm over the 6 bed because while there’s more people, there’s also significantly more space. Overall I’m extremely impressed and so happy I stayed here!

This is the best hostel I’ve staying in on my travels. Social without being hectic. Facilities are top class with great hot showers. Staff are super friendly and always go the extra mile. If you’re in Dalat, I would 100% recommend this place!

Really good location, very friendly and helpful staff who were always available behind the desk. The rooms were nice with curtains, a shelf and a light for the bed. Only thing is it was a little bit cramped but the bathroom made up for it. Family dinner was probably the highlight, we did it two nights in a row it was great value and there were about 10-20 each night (we were there between Christmas and new year so this could have lead to more people being there idk). They serve breakfast and great cocktails - believe them when they say super strong!!

Arrived at the hostel between 6am and 7am off a night bus and asked if we could leave our bags. Were told that we could check in early for a fee but then told that we would have to check into a room that wasn’t ours and move again later so we declined and headed into town for breakfast and an explore. Returned at about 11:00am and asked on the off chance if room was ready yet or not and we were told it was. Opened door to room to find people in the bed - clearly not our room. We explained to staff who then took us to what I assume was some sort of homestay (no one really explained) next door to view a room. Room was pleasant enough but host didn’t speak any English and none of the English speaking hostel staff accompanied us to view the room so communication was difficult. Still, homestay host was lovely and couldn’t do enough to help us and make our stay pleasant so that was a positive. Unfortunately, we no longer had access to the wifi, which wasn’t the end of the world but made planning the next steps of our travel a bit more challenging. Made use of the laundry service - paid for 10hr service as needed clothes ready for departure next day. When we returned, our clothes were no where to be seen and we were told to come back later. Came back a second time, still no clothes - told to wait for the manager to arrive and it would be sorted. Clothes arrived at 10pm (about 3 hours late) and still damp in places. No apologies or explanations. I’m sure other people have had better experiences here but we haven’t been impressed.

There was nothing wrong per se with the hostel, but somehow my boyfriend and I felt very uncomfortable here to the point that we thought about checking out earlier and going somewhere else. We booked 2 nights in a private room, which was pricier than some fancy rooms we found somewhere else (but we wanted to meet people so came here) and we felt very claustrophobic in our room. It was quite small, no window, only some very aggressive light and it was very humid inside. We had to ask for towels and they didn't even provide any soap or shampoo for us. The common area was also very small, not welcoming and quite dark. The staff was nice but one lady was very pushy about the tours or family dinners. Also, now we are checking out and the same lady took my bf and I's phones to write herself a 5-star review for this place and take pictures of the entrance for the review. As we were having breakfast and planning our day, she interrupted us to ask to take a picture of our reviews and pressured us to write one right away since we hasn't finalized it. That being said, the place was pretty clean, the locations good and the dorm is pretty cheap. So if you are travel budgeting the dorms could be a good option, but I do not recommend the private rooms as they are more expensive and not necessarily worth the price.

Normally I don‘t write bad reviews but in this case I want to warn people not to book this hostel. We had booked a room 1 month in advance via hostelworld since they had such good reviews. We got a confirmation also from the hostel itself. Then, the night before our actual stay we suddently got an e-mail that our booking was cancelled because they had other people in our room that apparently could not leave since they had not booked a bus on time to leave the city. Seriously? This should not be our problem if people don‘t plan ahead with TET. They offered us „generously“ that we could sleep on the floor if we can‘t find anything. I immediately called them and was refered to the manager who was talking about how this wasn‘t their fault, apparently they were overbooked because they have the hostel on different platforms. I was asking if I can get my money back that I already paid but she said that I have to sort this myself with hostelworld. In the end she just hang up on me. 1. Why did they sent me a completely different reason via mail? 2. Why do you notice at 9:30 in the night that the hostel is overbooked for the next day?? In the end we booked another accomodation last minute which was 10x more expensive than what we had plannend. All because this hostel can neither plan well nor do they have any sense for customer support. So I definitely cannot recommend them!

Whilst the location was great for our stay and the prices are competitive, advertising that all rooms are air conditioned on HostelWorld is misleading. Upon arriving we were told the standard private room was not airconned and would need to upgrade 100k for 2 people for an aircon room or the deluxe room. (I understand 100k isn’t a massive amount but it’s the principle). Upon getting into our room (which we chose not to upgrade) there is in fact air cons in all rooms but they then proceeded to confiscate the air con remote from us as we didn’t pay for it. You note that at the front desk the details are highlighted if it is and isn’t air conned but I should be made aware when booking on HostelWorld not at your front desk when I am then put in an awkward position to decide if I should pay more or not. I’d recommend management check this because it is not stated on HostelWorld (only for the top tier private room is it standard). The room itself was very stuffy and nothing would be able to dry in there alone. Regarding the staff service whilst okay there were several times I felt condescended and made to feel bad when I advised we booked a transfer not through their hostel (I note this is also noted by other people in their reviews noting the staff here are passive in the way they speak to you). Just because a guest doesn’t wish to interact with the hostel team or buy their services doesn’t mean we should be made to feel bad as I especially note, the staff at front desk talking under their breathe as I proceeded to walk off to my room. I hope that the team are able to clearly advertise their rooms properly on HostelWorld as whilst all rooms have an air con, you will be charged extra to upgrade which I think is a tactic to try make you pay more upon arrival hence why they leave the standard rooms blank with what’s included (didn’t even mention a fan was included when I booked). Also I note you can’t leave a review on HostelWorld because they deleted my booking (note this also was mentioned by someone else in the reviews) which I didn’t want to be done.
