  Absolutely 10-10 service, I arrived in Da lat at 7:30 in the morning 🌅 and these guys are so kind, they let me (Of course I asked for this) to pay a small fee and get access to a room right away to get some sleep! The private rooms are very clean, very spacious and perfect for a solo traveler or even couples! Thank you for having us!

  I only stayed for two nights but wish I extended for more. The staff were really friendly and helpful whenever needed. The food was really good as well (fried rice, chicken and egg was the best). Yen was always happy to help me with anything I needed. 10/10

  Had a really nice time staying here. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful and the room was really comfortable (we stayed in a deluxe private room) The gym was a great feature, you can do some main compound exercises in there. There is a squat rack, bench press and dumbbells over 17.5kg. There is also a Roman chair. It needed a clean and we had to tidy it up a bit before use. The pool was good, it's not heated but nice to have the option for a swim in the day. 2 pool tables and a beer isn35k from the reception. We would stay here again!

  This hostel is strange. I wouldn't call it a family hostel. It definitely wants to be a party hostel, but it's not really that either. If you're expecting a family homestay then it's definitely not that. They do offer a family dinner at 6.30pm for 89k which is great value and a good way to meet people. The hostel is huge so the dinner sits about 30+ people. They have two pool tables and after the family meal they have a DJ. The cocktails are 250k which is way overpriced for Vietnam. They do have a happy hour from 6.30pm to 8.30pm during which cocktails are buy-1-get-1-free but it still seems overpriced. Most other hostels I've been to in Vietnam offer cocktails for about 100k. Beers are 30k but for a tiny can, not a bottle. The hostel does have a swimming pool and gym, which was a big selling point and main reason we booked this. However, the swimming pool was in a poor state. The windows are always wide open so the pool is full of bugs and sediment. Plus there's no filtration system so the water just sits stagnating. Never saw anyone in it. The gym is also in poor condition. It has a bench press and squat rack with the accompanying barbell and plates. That's really the main thing that's usable. The adjustable bench which is super dangerous with the back rest snapped off and a boxing pad strapped to it which is really unstable and has jagged bolts and broken wood sticking out of. Dumbbells 17kg, 22.5kg, 27kg, 30kg..

  So the hostel world reviews and photos are pretty misleading. We arrived and was welcomed with the girl on reception telling us people keep extending their stay so our private room isn’t available (we booked days before arrival). We were offered a private rom in a dorm one night with a view to move into room we actually booked the day after. This happened to another person whilst we were there. Seems pretty common as they will earn more money letting people extend whilst keeping the other bookings and letting them down on arrival - offering just a 100k discount (£3-£4). The rooms smell of damp and mould. You get a shower and the floor stays wet for the duration of your stay. The floor is always wet in the dorms. The gym is very basic with a small amount of dumbbells. You can get a basic workout in so it’s usable. The pool isn’t clean. It looks clean when the jets are on and the water is circulating but once they stop, you can see all the bits that are in the water. The gym is next to the pool, i used the gym frequently and never saw anyone cleaning the pool. The reviews are so positive because the hostel offers a free “strong” drink if you leave a good review and show them it. This is a hit with all the young backpackers which is why they have such positive reviews. One positive is the chicken, rice and egg dish they serve for 60-70k. It is very generous and tasty. It’s pretty much two meals stacked on one plate it’s a big portion. If you’re a young solo backpacker, this will probably do you for a few days. Anything else you can get better for a little extra ££ which is more central.

  It's decent, but not as good as i'd hoped. I had a private room and at no time if day (morning, noon or night) can you have a hot shower. The staff are great, the family dinner is nice, but the place needs work. It has the bones of a great place, but need some upkeep and repair. Value for money is good and I would have given 4 stars if not for the lack of hot water. When it's 12-13 degrees and you get up to have a shower, it's tough to stand in cold water.

  Stayed in a private room, room was spacious but extremely loud - could hear the blasting music downstairs. Bathroom was nice, location was good. Pool looks nothing like the photos, very dirty and no seating or anything to enjoy the facilities. Overall the place seems like it’s a building site - has lots of potential but seems either run down or not finished?

  My partner and I have just stayed here and honestly it wasn't the best, I just wanna say the staff were great and very helpful and this bad review in no way reflects them. When we arrived we were hit in the face by an overwhelming smell of mold in our private room, my partner and I both had bad reactions to said mold (I got headaches every morning). The beds are not comfy, my back is still recovering lol. Other than that we had a great time and the room encouraged us to spend less time in it and experience dalat haha. The social atmosphere of the hostel was great and the family dinner was good. We also had a great tour booked through our hostel (ask for Stephane he was amazing). If you didnt wanna read all that, hostel was good rooms were bad.
