We stayed at this wonderful hotel for three nights and had an absolutely delightful experience. The property is set in a beautiful pine forest, with elegant villas scattered throughout, each one hosting several rooms. We stayed in Villa 7, which turned out to be extremely convenient thanks to its proximity to the swimming pool, the restaurant, and the main entrance. Our room was Suite 705, located on a raised ground floor. It was a truly stunning room spacious, charming, and full of character, with gorgeous antique details and a beautiful wooden parquet floor. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a lovely antique bathtub that added a special touch to our stay. The gardens are impeccably maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff deserve a special mention: they were absolutely adorable kind, attentive, and always willing to help. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and high quality, and the overall environment was incredibly calm and quiet. We also had the chance to try the SPA, which turned out to be an extraordinary experience. The facilities are beautiful, the atmosphere is deeply relaxing, and it was the perfect complement to an already exceptional stay. The location is also very convenient: it takes about a 20-minute walk to reach the market area, which makes it easy to explore while still enjoying a tranquil setting. Overall, it was a truly wonderful stay with impeccable service. We highly recommend this hotel it is absolutely worth it and offers an unforgettable experience. The only thing, in my personal opinion, would be to have a separate pool for children, so that guests can fully relax in the adults’ pool.

One of the most beautiful hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. The property features charming French-style villas spread across a vast, peaceful countryside setting right in the heart of Da Lat. The service was absolutely outstanding. We celebrated Passover here, and the team went above and beyond to help us prepare everything needed for the holiday. We chose the chef’s dinner at the restaurant, and they thoughtfully customized the menu to suit our dietary needs. Everything was simply perfect. Highly recommended.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature and the calm atmosphere of Da Lat, Ana Mandara is a wonderful choice. The resort feels quiet, charming, and full of fresh mountain air. Waking up to the sound of birds and the cool breeze was one of the best parts of the stay. The gardens are beautiful, the villas have a cozy vintage feel, and everything makes you slow down and relax. A perfect place to escape the busy city and enjoy the peaceful side of Da Lat.

We have loved every second and every inch of this wonderful resort! The communication before we arrived was really helpful. Upon arrival we were greeted with warmth and kindness, hot flannels and tea. A buggy drive is to our villa. The grounds are immaculate. Our room was beautiful and so clean with gorgeous views. Each day our room was serviced and when we returned each evening lamps had been put on for us, curtains closed and a little plate of cookies left out for us. Breakfast was the best we have had so far (in 3 weeks of travelling Vietnam). The afternoon tea was most welcomed. We enjoyed a relaxing and refreshing swim on the pool. We had an incredible spa treatment (facial and massage) which made us feel 20 years younger! The reception team organised a city tour for us and our airport transfer; they were so helpful. We have felt to cared for. We didn't want to leave! Thank you to every member of staff for making Ana Mandara such a special place to stay! I would like to add a personal thank you Thao Nguyen (reception desk) who took such great care of us. She is an absolute asset to Ana Mandara Villas!

This is a great resort like many have said but it is also one with distinct characteristics that you should know to set proper expectations. This resort is a collection of around 13 villas that were built a hundred years ago for the French elites and each villa has its own style and history. I love its long history and am glad that the villas are preserved and restored. The being said, a common drawback of old buildings is their lack of sound proofing. You will stay in a room within a villa rather than having the entire villa to yourself. You will hear the wood floor, people talking, the wind, the rain, the trees, the birds, the kids, occasionally the dogs, and all the sounds of nature and other guests. Some might consider that’s part of the charm but some might think those are noises. However, compare to hotels in the city, this resort is surrounded by pine trees and you won’t hear the traffic or road noise. What you are getting into is a collection of restored old villas set in the forest. Its style is rustic charm, not urban modern. If you want a city hotel, this is not for you. Similarly, its location is not in the city center but a bit out of the way. You will need to wait longer for your taxi/motorbike to come. Breakfast ends at 10am, which to me is too early. If you want to sleep in, you will miss the breakfast. While the room’s price is similar to other five star hotels in da lat, the price for its restaurant, spa, in-room dining, and even the coffee capsules is high. For example, coffee capsules cost 50,000 vnd each while a fresh cup of Vietnamese coffee in town is usually 20-25k. Resort guests do not have discounts to its restaurants or spas, either. This Hotel seems quite strict for early check-in and late checkout. I didn't request one but it is written in their in-room brochure that they would charge you 50%-100% of a night's fee if you want early check-in or late checkout. This resort is not non-smoking. I saw people smoke outdoors on the resort grounds. In short, if you want to spend time in nature, this is a great place. If you want modern facilities, close to city center, and do not want to hear any sounds from outside of your room, this is not the place for you.

Good points Location is very good. Villa rooms are well appointed and sizeable. Hotel restaurant serves both western and Asian dishes of high quality. Yoga class high standard – alas, only Friday, Saturday and Sunday (should be every day in a hotel of this standing) Service from staff is very good. Reception staff very well trained and friendly. Will stop their golf buggies to offer lifts if they see you walking. Breakfast bar is varied and good quality (exception: the fruit offering is less good than other hotels we stayed in). Areas for improvement Sound insulation between rooms is almost non-existent. The bathroom for room 805 appears to be next to the headboard of the bed in room 803 and the sound of water running and people talking woke us up. The coffee-making facilities at breakfast are a joke - completely inadequate. There is one, small, aged Saeco machine that is very slow and a queue quickly forms. The water needs constant refilling and the grounds emptying. Afternoon tea offering is underwhelming, particularly compared to lesser hotels on our tour. Laundry relatively expensive - a number of items came back shrunk and unironed. However, they ironed the pleats out of a skirt. Overall, a bit of a feature of hotel laundry in Vietnam, but for the price we paid, we expected better.

Very nice accomodation with historic architect, superb location.|Just nearly 2km from the Dalat market, stay 2 nights, walked there to enjoy the local night life.|The resort itself is gorgeous, surround by pine trees. Fresh air every moment, chill.||Breakfresh is exceptional for Dalat with choice for both Asian and Western cuisine. Special dish for every breakfast is the “bánh mì xíu mại”.|The chicken hot is awesome as well…|Mr. Lam is super nice, friendly and helpful.

The place was quiet and relaxing, and the staff were all friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was great as well! The villa offers some activities to try for couples and groups. Located a little bit further away from the city center but it's easy to get a grab for transport. If you don't mind that at all, I'd definitely recommend this place for your time in Dalat 😃
