We had a very pleasant stay here. I was impressed by the little details, like how they provided a woody scent for my boyfriend and a feminine scent for me—it was such a thoughtful touch. The room was clean and the bed was comfy, perfect for a good rest. Plus, the building’s unique architecture makes for some great photos. For breakfast, although there wasn't a huge variety to choose from, the quality was excellent. We tried the Handcrafted Cha Siu Noodles and the Bun Bo (Vietnamese beef noodle soup). Both were delicious! A special thanks to Mrs. Phuong for being so helpful and for recommending some wonderful local restaurants. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I’d definitely recommend it.

I had a lovely stay in this hotel. Hotel staff are extremely nice and helpful. The laundry service was good, few hrs time they get out laundry done. I lost my personal stuff in the previous hotel, staff was able to help me communicate with them and get my stuff delivered to the hotel. I cannot thank them enough. The location is also not far from the city center but also in a quiet location.

The room felt a bit compact at first, but the staff were incredibly helpful in setting up an extra bed, which made the stay much more comfortable. Despite the limited space, the room was crazily aesthetic, with beautifully designed details in every corner that made it a joy to stay in. The bathroom was a standout feature—the bathtub was large and perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. Customer service was excellent throughout. The team was attentive, responsive, and genuinely caring. During breakfast, the server was especially kind and helpful, adding a warm touch to the overall dining experience. Breakfast itself was wonderful, with a satisfying selection to start the day right.

We travel across Asia often and have stayed in many beautiful hotels — but Banla is something truly special. This hotel has a soul. The design is extraordinary, thoughtful down to the smallest detail — and as we all know, the true magic lives in the details. Every corner of this house invites you to linger just a little longer. In the lobby, there is even a gallery telling the story of the hotel — its concept, its materials, its design philosophy. It was the first time I had ever seen a hotel mood board presented this way, and as a designer, I was completely charmed. And then there is the team. At the reception, we were met with a kind of hospitality that felt natural and sincere — attentive, graceful, never intrusive. After the loud and performative service we had grown used to in many resort hotels in Vietnam, Banla felt like relief. Here, care is quiet. And somehow, that makes it even more profound.

They blatantly lied about the room size. Overall, this place offers terrible value for the money. Calling itself a “boutique hotel” cannot be an excuse to focus on aesthetics while completely ignoring basic quality and honesty. The room is written as 20 m², which is simply false. In reality, the room is ridiculously small there isn’t even enough space to open a medium size suitcase without blocking the entire walkway. The bed is a 1.6 × 2 m bed shoved into a corner so you cannot walk onto the far side. I actually measured the room, and it’s around 16 m² at best. That’s not a small discrepancy that’s straight-up misrepresentation. I even asked them if it is the correct room, they said yes. Later I asked why it is so small, “is it really 20m2 because I measured it” they paused for a while and admitted it is ~18m2 (I don’t even see how they could have measured it to come up with this number.) The wifi is awful. Signal shows only 1 to 2 bar and is basically unusable for anything. Maybe only this top floor room, but it then proves they did not test the coverage Breakfast is technically “included,” but don’t expect much. You preselect one main dish, and there’s supposed to be a small buffet of fruit and salad. In reality, it’s poor.. , and the main dish portion is small. The bathroom is another disappointment. Once again, “boutique” does not mean sacrificing functionality to such an extreme degree. If you’re taller than 1.7m, good luck, you’ll constantly hit your head. The showerhead is installed low, and also water easily spills out into the room because of the poor design. Bottom line: if you’re looking for a cute, insta worthy hotel, this is not worth the sacrifices. You shouldn’t have to give up basic comfort, honesty, and functionality just for “style” and that’s exactly what this place expects you to do.

I have stayed at Banla many times before, and this time I came back after the renovation to experience it again. I have to say, Banla has upgraded beautifully and feels more refined than ever. I tried the new rooms and was especially impressed with the Banla Signature room, which has a balcony and street view windows yet is extremely well soundproofed. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.||The rooms are more spacious, with thoughtful amenities and carefully selected details throughout. Breakfast is delicious and beautifully presented, like in a luxury restaurant, the yogurt is especially amazing. Guests also receive a 20% discount when enjoying coffee at the rooftop café on the 5th floor, which is a lovely bonus.

Higly recommended boutique hotel in DaLat, Vietnam with affordable price.. complimentary breakfast is healthy (vegetarian option is available - muslim travelers can opt for it) checking in was smooth with complimentary welcome drink (yummy) and welcome gifts (tit-bits and essential oil - loving it so much) staff was so helpful. BUT the housekeeping was abit disappointed as the room was not clean enough. Rooms design was perfect! There's cafe/bar on top level. Weather was perfectly nice in December. Location is perfectly good. Easy to catch grabcar too. convenient store and cafe is available nearby too.
