I absolutely loved this place and the overall vibe of the resort. The atmosphere is beautiful, relaxing, and perfect for a getaway. The staff were incredibly supportive, friendly, and always willing to help. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast. It was decent, but I would rate it around 3.5–4 out of 5. A wider variety of options and some refinement in quality would make the overall experience even better. I will definitely be coming back many more times in the future. Highly recommended!

Terracotta Hotel & Resort Dalat is a beautiful lakeside resort surrounded by pine forests and refreshing escape in nature. The atmosphere is one of the highlights—calm, green, and well-suited for a relaxing getaway. Visiting in April was especially pleasant, with cool and comfortable weather. The property itself is quite large, with multiple accommodation zones and plenty of space to explore. One of the best features is the lakeside walking path along Tuyen Lam Lake, which offers scenic views and is perfect for a leisurely stroll. It really adds to the overall peaceful experience. Service was excellent throughout the stay—staff were attentive, friendly, and made a positive impression. There are a few minor areas for improvement. Some facilities feel slightly dated, and there was a noticeable musty smell in the bathroom. While not a dealbreaker, these are things the hotel could improve to elevate the experience further. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with a great natural setting—ideal for those looking to unwind in Dalat.

Good experience staying here, lovely room with a garden and lake view. The inner cafe/garden area is beautiful with well taken plants and flowers. Our room is spacious and well furnished with a nice bathroom. Nothing fancy but everything we need, we mostly had. The Samsung TV is quite slow and old, had trouble accessing youtube. We had breakfast at the hotel, overall the food is decent and the servers are very attentive, we ate slightly outside of the breakfast hours of the hotel but the staff still keep the food available a while longer for guests. Price is about 2M vnd we paid for 1 night here, not crazy for the service and room quality. The area near the lake that the hotel locates is quiet and beautiful, you can snap a lot of good pictures. For extra activities I think there is some duck paddle boats. Would recommend if you don't exactly look for budget options and want some place nice and quiet in Dalat

Pros: Beautiful surroundings situated within a pine forest by the lake. The grounds are well-kept, giving the property a very good outward appearance. Check-in: We selected the 9:00 AM early check-in option and arrived shortly after 10:00 AM. However, the staff did not expect us and could not find our reservation. After I insisted and showed our Agoda booking, they finally located it; strangely, it was listed for August instead of April. The receptionist implied we had made a mistake and suggested we contact Agoda. I double-checked and confirmed the booking was indeed for "April"—spelled out, not in numbers—which should have prevented any date confusion. While the receptionist asked us to wait, we were served a syrupy “welcome drink” in tiny, hospital-like paper cups. We waited in a lobby littered with sunflower seed shells and plastic wrappers, while several uniformed staff members loitered nearby, merely appearing busy. Room Quality: Once checked in, we were shown to our room. The carpet was stained dark brown, the toilet bowl was uncleaned, and the wallpaper was peeling, covered in spots and children's graffiti. Additionally, the air ducts were blackened with dust, and the lighting was too dim to read by. The "cherry on top" was a huge cockroach on the wall. Overall: As we approached the property, I initially regretted not booking more nights. By the time we left, I was glad we had only stayed for one. The resort has clearly seen better days. The neglect is especially jarring compared to the well-maintained grounds and the high number of employees. It seems management is more preoccupied with outward appearance than actual substance or cleanliness.

Where do I even begin? We extended our stay several times. During my trip I had an accident, and I can honestly say that this hotel helped me heal.Every member of the staff was so kind, caring, helpful and respectful that words are not enough to thank them. They are truly a dream team — from the reception staff, the bellboys, housekeeping, the waiters, the chef… every single person left a beautiful impression on me.The hotel is located in a dreamy place. If you are looking for peace, tranquility and beautiful views, this is definitely the place. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back and we will recommend this hotel to all our friends and family. We will miss you ❤️

Terracotta Hotel offers a peaceful retreat by Tuyen Lam Lake. Ideal for couples seeking minimalism and nature over shopping. While some facilities age, the hygiene is reliable. Breakfast spread is nice, but limited food options for the rest of the day. Frequented by tour groups. Pool felt aged.

My husband and I stayed at Terracotta Dalat for 2 nights. The resort is close to Tuyen Lam lake and has a beautiful landscape. We had booked a lakeview room with a balcony. While the view was splendid, the room itself was rundown. The carpet in the common area and inside the room looked dirty. There also seemed to be limited staff as the stairs in the common area had litter on the three days that we were there. They have a number of amenities at the resort, but the Karaoke was never available during our stay. Also, the restaurant had a very limited menu. While the breakfast area was scenic and the staff tried their best to serve, the resort could do better with the food quality. We understand that it was rainy, but the hot foods were actually cold as they were being served in the open. Also, the coffee could be better. Overall, the view and the outdoor scenery, which looked even more beautiful in the rain, were the only things that really made our stay enjoyable.
