  We rented a motorcycle here for 1.5 days and had a great experience! The owner was very easy to deal with and very helpful. The motorcycle was in good condition. After picking it up, the owner kindly explained where the nearest petrol station is located. The location is also very convenient — it is near Sarah Restaurant, which serves halal food, and you can easily walk there. Very accessible and great for tourists! We provided our driving license to the owner as required. Overall, a smooth and pleasant rental experience. Highly recommended! Thank you to the owner for the wonderful service

  Friendly, and helpful, even though we rent bike here last minute without booking, that time their bike already finish, but they still try find alternative bike..the scooter we get just nice to ride, with their scooter we manage to go sightseeing around Dalat, the rate we get 150k, rent until 9 pm..

  Proper small scale mechanic shed and bike rental. Helpful guys, good smiles, older one with almost no English but doesn't matter, scooter rental is not complex. Yamaha PG-1 180K ($7/€6/£5) per day. Didn't haggle. Fuel v.low as always, for a short rental just add 1 litre and see how you go.

  Friendly, fast and fair prices. No bullshit talking. I rented a Yamaha PG1, everything was clean and the bike itself was in very good conditions. It’s not 24 hours renting so make sure that you and the owner are talking about the same day of return, then everything is fine. PG 1 was 180.000 per day

  Rented an automatic scooter for the day (return by 9PM) for 150k and it was in good condition except the fact that the speedometer didn’t work hahahaha. Just went with the flow of traffic and it all worked out though! As per usual, no gas in the tank so be prepared to put in a liter ish to start if you’re just cruising around for the day!! I got there fairly early and the owner came out right away - very quick and professional feeling and they have a nice fleet of automatic and semi automatic bikes (which you can rent for 200k per day). Overall great experience!! Thank you so much!!

  I decided to rent here because the shop had good online reviews, even though it was a bit far from where I was staying. Unfortunately, my experience was quite different. When I asked about pricing, I was told it was 150k for a manual bike and 200k for an automatic for the day. I figured it was the adhoc price as I didn't make a reservation seeing others had only paid 130k from other reviews. In the end, it was my first time riding in Vietnam so I took the automatic and the price was reduced to 150k. He also offered to fill the tank for an additional 50k. I assumed this meant a full tank, but it was only just under half. It was enough for the day, though I was very close to empty on the way back and unsure if I would make it. For comparison, 50k would normally fill around 70 to 80% of the tank at a petrol station. The bike itself was old (over 200k on the odometer) but ran fine. The speedometer wasn't working, but that didn't really matter as I was riding at the same pace as everyone else on the road. When I returned the bike, there was no one at the shop. Before renting, I had been told they closed at 9pm, and I returned at 5:30pm. While I didn't think I needed to give an exact return time, I expected someone to be there before closing time. I spoke to a woman two doors down who was affiliated with the shop, and she said they had left. This was concerning because they had my passport as collateral. She suggested I come back later to collect it, but I insisted she call them instead. After some hesitation, she did, and someone returned about 10-15 minutes later to complete the drop-off. After this, I rented from other shops during my trip and found the process much more seamless, with clearer and more consistent pricing (like the same pricing stated in the other reviews for this shop without much differences between automatic and manual). I also felt more comfortable not leaving my passport. Other shops offered to take a photo of it and accepted another ID (e.g. my home country's drivers licence or forms of ID). Overall, I'm not sure why my experience here was so different, but it's a reminder to always take online reviews with a grain of salt.
