  Tucked away on a hillside on the south east side of town meant that the views are absolutely spectacular looking out towards the mountains. The morning mist rolling over the hills is an unforgettable sight. The house itself is great. Clean, good water pressure, spacious and the bed linnen is super soft. The hostess is an absolute sweetheart and willing to help in any way and is super reactive on WhatsApp. She even texted asking us if we got our flight okay after we left. The rest of the family were very kind as well. Their English is more limited, but waving and smiles and international hand gestures are more than sufficient to communicate. There's also a dog with a gold chain who is very vocal at first but after he's seen you a couple of times he gives one bark then walks off, almost like he's saying "oh it's you again. Hi, I guess". There is a very nice cafe just down the hillside called Sitooterie. Everything is black, even the croissant. The views are great and there are coffee bushes growing on the terrace. Up the street there is also a very good family-run restaurant called Mân. The food is excellent. There is a small supermarket on the same street which is handy for the essentials. This was our first time in Dalat, and I we are in the plane as I'm writing this, watching the city fade out of view and wishing we could stay just one more night longer. Would definitely recommend!

  Chubby House apartments are an absolute gem. The apartment was perfectly equipped, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness was top-level, everything spotless and very well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made resting after a long day a real pleasure. The views from the window were absolutely stunning, the kind that makes you stop for a moment and just enjoy the scenery. Above all, the owner deserves special mention. She is an amazing woman with a great sense of humor, always helpful, always smiling, and genuinely caring about her guests. Her positive energy really makes this place special. Warm greetings to her, and thank you for a wonderful stay.

  Stayed here for a few nights and it is great value for money, the owner is very kind and helpful with any questions and even went out the way to assist us before arrival and after check out to help with some trickier transport. The room has most amenities like a stove, basic cooking ingredients and some pots, pans and utensils. The room lacks air con but in comparison to the rest of Vietnam, Da Lat is cooler so this is not really an issue in my experience. The room cools quite quickly with the windows. The View is an added bonus from the room and the owner speaks very good English. They also offer laundry service at a good price and motorbike rental

  The host is lovely. She was there to help with any questions or problems we had. Allowed us to leave our bags early in the morning after arriving on a sleeper bus until our room was ready. She then helped us with buses from Bao Loc to Mui Ne even though she isn’t based there and messaged us on the day of our departure from Bao Loc (days after leaving Chubby House) to make sure we got the bus okay. The apartment was really nice and came with a hob and kitchen utensils. Would highly recommend :)

  The hostess is the most welcomed and supportive host I have ever met in AirBnB. The place is clean and like in the photos. Just need a bit more decorations to create a warmer vibe. The location is quiet and near other cafes/ restaurants. The view upstairs is nice. The kitchen has enough utensils to cook good meals.

  We liked this place a lot. Super Host. We stayed twice 7 nights and 5 nights. Wonderful space to relax, rest and retreat after a long day seeing the sites.

  Everything about our stay was fine. We had a lovely view. It was convenient to have both motorbike rental and laundry service available right there. Both were reasonably priced.

  Very clean, rooms have beautiful views, very good location (very close to city but abit more tucked away so it's quiet and peaceful), very helpful owner, and super cute doggie at the front door! But the walk up/down the short but steep slope from the road can be a challenge for older travellers or people with mobility impairment. But it didnt affect our stay at all
