I joined HD a year ago and am happy with the service. The gym is always clean and the AC is good. Sometimes, it’s not been on, I’ve asked for it to be switched on and the staff are always happy to do this. Unfortunately there are lots of Instagrammers videoing themselves which seems weird to me but, maybe this is the new self obsessed normal 🤭

Great gym, good facilities. I would just recommend better cleaning of the bathrooms and better use of the sauna. It’s only available by the staff, which is hard to make a reservation 10 minutes before. Also, it’s not really clean there so they need to take care of the washrooms. Overall, the places is pretty convenient. I like it a lot.

Small space with three floors. Top floor is for yoga and has a few elliptical machines; middle floor resistance machines and a stretching area, bottom floor free weights and machines. Positives: - Cost: the price is fair (monthly/package) for what you get. You can negotiate to around 400-500k per month depending on the time of year and length of the contract. - Equipment: mostly works, although machines you’d expect to find (such as a chest press) do not exist. The machines are mostly of a decent quality. - Aircon; The AC is reasonably used, although there are times when the staff must be notified to turn it on. - Members: Other gym goers are mostly chill also and keep to themselves, with the exception of a few Ivans and Natashas who make the atmosphere awkward. All in all, satisfactory in terms of getting in a good workout. Negatives: - Staff: I’ve found the staff here to be cold and unwelcoming in the year I’ve been a member; once they have your money, the smiles quickly fade. The crew sit on their phones and do not acknowledge customers at all, and when you approach them for any small requests, you are more of a nuisance than a guest. - Atmosphere: The bottom floor has a strong synthetic rubber smell from the new tiles they put down a few months back; it’s stuffy down there (no windows or ventilation), and I don’t like the feeling of regularly breathing in this air. - Cleanliness: the machines are rarely wiped down, and weights are often not re-racked properly. Many reviews complain of this, but nothing is done, as staff on their phones can’t be bothered. - Cramped: if you go in the evening, the place is jam-packed, making the place effectively a morning/afternoon convenience. It’s just too small to accommodate many members. Overall, it is what it is. A mediocre experience, not worse than the worst places in town but certainly no better than the mid-tier competitors.

I cant recommend this HD. The one down the road is so much better. The set up for the hack machine here is not good at all. Its so close to the mirror. Its super hot in the place and very very small. Go down the road and get the 150 vd for a day pass there, this one isnt worth it.

Dear Gym Administration, Clients choose your gym, among other reasons, because it is equipped with air conditioning. However, almost every time when the temperature reaches around 28°C, members have to repeatedly ask your staff to turn on the air conditioners and close the windows. Moreover, in a space of approximately 60 square meters with 6–10 people training at the same time, only one air conditioner is turned on. This creates the impression of a purely formal approach and feels unreasonable — especially considering that the air conditioning in the administrative area runs continuously. I would also like to draw your attention to the cleanliness of the gym. The floors are in an unsatisfactory condition: for over a month I have been noticing the same dirt that is not being cleaned. For a sports facility, this is unacceptable. Another issue is the lack of order and supervision. Visitors do not put equipment back after use. If there are no clearly established rules for members, then staff should ensure that order is maintained. Instead, employees are often on their phones and do not appear to be monitoring the gym floor. I kindly ask you to address these issues and take appropriate action. I hope to see improvements and a more professional approach to managing the facility.

Very disappointing experience. The women’s restroom didn’t have toilet paper — which is a basic necessity. When I asked the staff, they were dismissive and unhelpful, saying they “don’t know” or “it might be available after lunch.” The attitude was almost sarcastic, as if this issue didn’t matter. What made it worse is the way they communicate. On WhatsApp, they reply with cold, one-word answers, often ending messages with a period, which comes across as rude and passive-aggressive. There is no explanation, no effort to help. Before you pay, they are polite and attentive. But as soon as you become a customer, the attitude completely changes — you’re treated with zero respect. My friend also lost a towel here, and the staff didn’t even try to help find it. They were just on their phones, doing their own things, showing no initiative or care at all. Extremely poor customer service and lack of basic professionalism. I do not recommend this place.

If you’re a foreigner thinking about joining this gym, I strongly recommend reading this before making a decision. I chose this gym because the membership costs around three times more than others in the area, and I expected a higher-quality experience with amenities like air conditioning, yoga, dance and sauna. Unfortunately, it did not meet those expectations. The air conditioning is often turned off or not properly used, which makes workouts uncomfortable. Towels are included in the service, but there were times when no clean towels were available, which is frustrating when you’re paying a premium price. Some of the advertised services are also misleading. There are no dance classes, and while the sauna exists, you need to ask staff to turn it on, and it’s often not properly heated when you want to use it. Yoga classes are only in Vietnamese, which can be difficult to follow if you’re not a local. However, the biggest issue for me was the lack of transparency and inconsistency in how memberships are handled. I signed a 3 month membership shortly before Lunar New Year and was not informed that the gym would be closed for about 10 days. Only a small portion of that time was compensated (only 1 week). Later, I needed to travel for visa reasons and asked to pause my membership for some days. This was denied because pauses are only allowed for memberships of 6 months or more. What frustrated me the most is that the gym can “pause” memberships when it benefits them (like during holidays), but does not offer the same flexibility to customers. As a foreigner, this made the experience even more frustrating, as there was no consideration for short term stays or unexpected travel or health needs. In the end, this is not just about facilities it’s about trust and customer relationship. And unfortunately, that was very disappointing. I would not recommend this gym, especially if you are planning to commit to a membership. There are better and more flexible options available for a much lower price

Selling someone a month subscription and then having closed half of the time is really not acceptable… I get that ppl have their national holiday and that should also be like that! But you should be more transparent about this while setting up the subscription…
