Trained here on a Saturday. It was extremely busy and hard to get on any of the equipment you wanted to use. The place is a decent size with a wide variety of equipment. You can definitely get a full body workout here (on a quieter day). That said, a lot of the kit is rusty, old, and in need of replacement or maintenance. It was 100,000VND each for a day pass. In summary I'd say it's fit for purpose, but don't expect too much / better gyms available.

No A/C was really brutal, but really enjoyed the old school vibe and machines. Fans were blasting but the humidity was not fun. 110K for a day pass was reasonable for the free sauna 😂.

For a 100k day pass, it’s quite okay. The people are friendly, and the equipment is a mix of old-school and modern. There’s no air conditioning, and some areas can feel a bit messy;)

Decent gym. Mostly tourists go here. Day pass 100k. Monthly 550k.

If you're looking for a place to get a workout, you can do it here... But it's packed, it's loud and not just a few aggressive tourists and aggro gym bros, but that's to be expected given the area. For a 100k drop in you get everything you need for a decent workout... plus lots of old and rusty equipment, no locker rooms and a tiny dirty bathroom in addition to no decent place to stretch out and limber up aside from a dirty corner with old yoga mats. Went once, won't be back as there's other places to choose from.

I visited The Pig Gym in Da Nang, and honestly, the name fits—it was basically a pigsty 🐖. I’m giving it two stars. The place felt dirty and cramped, the air conditioning didn’t work properly, and the sanitary facilities were super grimy. For anyone who cares about a certain hygiene standard, it’s definitely not recommended. For a day pass of 100,000 dong, I’ve had way better and cleaner gym experiences. The equipment was worn out and rusty, the most of the fans didn’t work, the mats were filthy, and overall it just didn’t meet even a basic cleanliness standard. Not a place I’d go back to.

The biggest issue with Pig Gym isn't even its own fault. Its super crowded. You have to do your workout around what area of the gym is less crowded. Theres one bathroom. Not enough when there is 40-50 people in the gym at once. The equipment is in pretty bad shape overall. Very rusty equipment due to the gym being open to the air. There is a very nice weight selection for dumbbells. Although the weight plates and dumbells are often not put back togther to you have to go search for the matching plate/dumbell. Also super commen for people to leave the weights on the machines...Staff seems nice but theres not much to like here. I could see this being enjoyable if you came at 5 or 6am when its not very busy and cooler in the gym. But if youre coming any time later than 8am its not going to be fun. Fortunately for Pig its in a fantastic location so they will always be super busy and I wish them the best. Not for me.

Absolutely horrible experience with another patron there and the staff did nothing about it. I was working out on a machine and a patron puts her phone on the cup holder of the machine I was using. It was in the morning and it wasn’t busy. I told her I was using my machine and she goes I’m just putting my phone there. I asked if she could put her phone somewhere else. She said are you using it? (The cup holder). Understandable there is. A language barrier, now yes, a phone is not a big issue. I just didn’t want to accidentally knock it out and then break it.—which I didn’t explain then but I didn’t think it was necessary. She then proceeded to threaten me by saying she works for the police.Anyways she then went to every patron and staff and talked crap about me. And not like 1-2, she went to like 5 people. The staff never tried to deeacalate and so I told them I quitting because I was uncomfortable with the gossip and her threatening that she works for the police. They said she doesn’t work for police she just talking. BUT THEY STILL DID T SAY ANYTHING TO HER. Now I get it. I am a visitor and I am sure she is a long time client so they rather keep her, but I am disappointed that this was able to escalate this far OVER A PHONE!!!
