Dear Benh Vien C Da Nang Hospital, Please allow me offer my appreciation to you and every member of your staff I encountered during my stay in the hospital. I am being dismissed from the hospital today. I was admitted with a badly broken leg following a motorcycle accident (an accident for which the police cleared me of any liability or fault). From the ambulance staff to the emergency room staff to radiology and surgery, every nurse, doctor, and physiotherapist made me feel safe and comfortable, and treated me with great care, respect, and compassion. Doctor Tanh provided superlative care, the physiotherapist Lai was friendly and professional, and all of the nurses were exceptional, especially Lê. Every single member of staff was professional and helpful. I am a UK citizen and felt as safe and confident in your facility as I would have felt at home. Your staff also cooperated with my international insurance agent with great efficiency. This trip was my second to Vietnam, and though I hope never to visit another hospital in Vietnam (or anywhere else in the world!) I look forward to my next trip to Vietnam. The kindness of everyone I encountered in your hospital is much of what makes me know that Vietnam is a special country and a place in the world to be appreciated. Please share this letter with all of the staff whom I interacted with. It is important to me that they know how much I appreciate their work. I offer deep appreciation to you.

I was having severe pain in my hip and back and decided to try this hospital. It took me a little bit to find the correct area because the Grab dropped me on the opposite side of the hospital. After some wandering around, I found my way to the 3rd floor of Khu C. However, the international exam office was closed for the weekend. I went back downstairs and found a reception desk. After explaining the situation to the receptionist, she pointed me to a registration desk on the first floor. I was then issued a referral document to take to a different examination office on the 3rd floor. I was seen initially within 10 minutes, and a nurse then escorted me to ultrasound and x-ray, then instructed me to come back to the 3rd floor office at 2pm (lunch break). I came back as bit early, received my results and a prescription, then headed to the pharmacy. After buying the medicine, I booked a Grab and was back home by 2:15. I'm greatful for the fast and professional service of all of the staff I interacted with! The initial registration staff and the doctor could speak English, some of the other staff could not. I speak Vietnamese well enough that this wasn't an issue but I'm sure Google Translate works just fine. The medicine and service fees were very affordable, too!

Contrary to previous reviews, the staff was friendly and helpful. They showed me around and the prices were completely fine too. I got my blood tested and even if there were language barriers sometimes, it always was possible to communicate somehow

Most amazing care and attention. Fell off my hire scooter and suffered cuts bruises and dislocated shoulder. 8 days of wonderful personal dedicated medical care. Truly the place to be if you're ill in Da Nang. The staff are the best in the world

We’re from the Philippines and my husband got into an accident. This is the hospital my husband got treated in and all the staff has been accommodating from start to finish. Despite the language barrier, we had used translators to help communicate with each other. The nurses are friendly and responsive to every needs of not only for my husband’s medical care but as well as the guests that arrived to visit my husband.

Registration for foreigners is on floor 3. I did not buy insurance so I went there. I had infection in my toe, first meds did not work, so they gave me another one. This time it worked, but I had to use same prescription twice for longer treatment. Staff were nice and guided me where to go, since sings are in Vietnamese.

I had an ear infection because of swimming called swimmers ear. I lost about 50-70% of my hearing and pain started to increase after 4 days. All this happened during tet new years so a lot of businesses were closed except the hospital. I went to the emergency and was quickly seen by a specialist who checked it, analyzed, and then gave me some medicine. All in all i paid like 30 dollars maybe less. Im glad i will be better now

Overall it's okay but my experience wasn't too good. I was hospitalized with a broken arm. I had to wait two days until they told me that they maybe can do my surgery on Thursday or Friday or Saturday. Also they couldn't tell me the estimated cost of surgery even though I asked multiple times. Most staff speak poor English or doesn't speak it at all, but the good thing is that they try to use translator at least, even though the translation is not very good. Sadly, some staff acts like they don't want to deal with you at all. In the end I had to fly back home to do the surgery because things here were unclear. But I understand that this hospital is mostly for locals, not for foreigners.
