I am so grateful for the Traditional medicine hospital of Danang. My mother and I are traveling in Vietnam and trying the Traditional asian medicine practices. My mother arrived with major fatigue, poor sleep, pains and mobility issues caused by heart disease, arthritis and excessive weight. She has been getting treatment of massage , electric stimulation of the knee, fire dragon moxibustion, and acupuncture. She was also able to speak with a nutritionist. She has lost a lot of the excess weight and has been more energetic than I've seen her in years. As for myself,I have been receiving treatment of massage, fire dragon moxibustion, and accupuncture as well as hyperberic oxygen therapy to treat insomnia. I have barely been using sleep aids, and I am noticing my quality of sleep has greatly improved. I appreciate the patience and attention to detail that the entire staff at Traditional Medicine Hospital has shown. Dr. Linh and Dr.Y have been our primary doctors and we both feel so well taken care of. They are phenomenal because they combine so much western knowledge with knowledge of traditional medicine . Of course, the therapists My, Ly, Long, Duong, Nghia and Giang have done miraculous work with professionalism that made us feel like we were at a spa instead of having our health worked on. Although we are leaving Da Nang soon after one month here, we are so happy with our treatments that we would do the same thing again to improve our already improved health.

Had a very serious case of a pinched nerve in the neck which made my left arm lose sensitivity in bicep and fingers. It was also EXTREMELY painful, never in my life have I experienced such an intense pain. Had a set of traditional procedures in this hospital (acupuncture, shock therapy, heat therapy, massages) and after 5 sessions 85% of symptoms were gone. What is left I treated with swimming and exercises. I cannot express how grateful I am for the dedication and care doctors gave me! Thank you!

Fantastic Facility. Went and saw Dr Tu, he is very knowledgeable. In just 2 sessions, he managed to relieve my neck and upper back pain which I was struggling with for almost 1 year.he applies lots of different techniques including massages, physio, acupuncture, acupressure and dragon fire therapy etc. Very happy with the experience, wish I stayed longer. Highly recommend Dr Tu. Thank you Dr Tu and the team.

I had high hopes for this place, given its solid reviews, but it did not live up to expectations for me. I was ready to commit to a month long protocol to help with my insomnia. I stopped after one session because the treatment was disappointing and the follow-up effects even worse. First the positives: - English speaking doctor greeted me at the lobby with a smile and was courteous. Much easier than with another clinic in Hanoi where no one spoke any English and I had to use google translate for everything - decent cleanliness - they did bloodwork to check kidney and liver function before administering herbal medicine, which is a good safety protocol to follow - they combine aspects of western medicine with eastern, although not enough of the latter in my unprofessional opinion (more on that later) - the acupressure massage was really good and I felt like the therapist knew exactly what he was doing and applies the perfect amount of pressure in just the right places - very affordable by western standards - easy to communicate via facebook messenger The negatives: - I felt considerably worse the days following treatment. Not in a “it’s part of the process” kind of way. Just wired and incredibly heavy. High anxiety. Even though I drank no caffeine and kept a healthy diet and had no major life stressors in those days. - young staff who is need of a seasoned veteran doctor to look over what they’re doing. - no tongue reading or pulse feeling. This is the only traditional medicine place I’ve ever visited where they skip over this entirely. My TVM expert in Hanoi got so much accurate insight with just this alone. Here they just skip and go straight to procedures after a discussion of symptoms alone. - electrotherapy was more like electroshock therapy. Ok I exaggerate. (By a little.) But the doctor administering the electro therapy was far too harsh in amping up the current. My muscles spasmed at one point and I had to urge him to take it easy. Especially scary considering they administer the electrodes to the head also. - made getting a refund for remaining treatments unnecessarily difficult. I had to have long chat discussions with the doctor where he kept urging me to come back for more treatment. This made me lose more trust in them than anything. It’s fine to suggest coming back to try again, but if you see that your customer wants a refund for the remaining sessions then just offer it to them, for heaven’s sake. On top of that I had to waste an hour of my day and more Grab fees to drive back and forth from the hospital just to get a speech about how they care about their customers and are willing to offer a refund after all 😂 it was nice that they also offered a spa package for free as a way of making amends, but by that point I didn’t want any further interactions with them Overall I felt like they completely misread my case and what I need. In contrast, the Hanoi practitioner administered all of the treatments that they did, yet the next days there I felt lighter and like a positive shift was taking place in my body. Also, from the reviews I see a lot of people claiming that they helped, especially with shoulder and neck pain. I would’ve gladly come back here every year and would’ve gladly paid them regularly to help me with my symptoms. Ultimately disappointing for everyone involved.
