I loved every second of my stay, one of the most welcoming and social places I have been. The both owners are sweethearts and the Hostel feels more like a big shared flat with a nice kitchen and outdoor area to socialise and hang out… the beach is close and breakfast is free . Can’t recommend enough

Awesome hostel and homestay by the beach!! I only planned to stay a few days at Nalani but ended up extending my stay multiple times because I had a great time! I stayed in both the 4-bed female dorm and the private room and I can completely recommend both. Everything was clean and comfortable. Good AC and hot water. Lan & Martin are great hosts!! If you need suggestions or anything organized, they’ve got you! They also try to organize events for the guests and will join as well when they can. I loved the location and how close it was to the beach. The sunrise there is gorgeous! If you’re looking for a quieter place to stay while in Hoi An, this is the place. It‘s a less than 10-minute walk to the beach and the main area in An Bang with all the restaurants and other shops. Great café around the corner with really good coffee. It’s also just a 10-minute Grab ride to the old town. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here!! Totally recommend.

I stayed at Nalani Homestay for almost 3 weeks, and honestly… it felt like home. Everything here is done with care and intention. The place is very clean, the breakfast is delicious, and having free coffee, tea, and drinking water available all day is such a nice touch. The pool is perfect for relaxing, especially after a long day exploring. The location is ideal — quiet and peaceful, yet very close to everything: the Vegetable Village, Hoi An Old Town, and just a few minutes from the beach. There are also restaurants and small shops nearby, and the area is beautiful for walks, especially at sunset. You can even do SUP on the lake, which was a great experience. But what truly makes this place special is the people. The hosts are absolutely amazing — kind, warm, and genuinely supportive. They create such a good energy that naturally attracts beautiful people. During my stay, there were family dinners, themed parties, and real connections between guests. It’s not just accommodation, it’s a community. You have both dorms and private rooms, all at very good prices, making it accessible for any type of traveler. After spending 3 weeks here, I can confidently say this place is something special. 10/10, highly recommended — and I would come back anytime.

The staff are amazing & so personable. The made to order breakfast is included & delicious. It’s impeccably clean. I liked that it catered to all age groups & offered both dorms & private rooms. It’s very social, but not party. It is located in a residential neighborhood, very close to the beach & local restaurants are a short walk. I took grab rides to Old Town, but happy to return to Nalani’s place.

Beautiful stay and located near the beach. The hosts are super amazing and help you with anything you need during the stay. The dorms were great too if you are travelling solo. It has a pool and all the amentities including snacks. If you are staying in Hoi An, this one is the only hostel you should be looking at. 11/10.

The Hostel was wonderful, the rooms were clean and the breakfast delicious. It’s near the beach, but the pool at the accommodation is also refreshing. They have cold drinks and ice cream available at all times. The staff was also very nice and they’ll inform you about all the activities in the area.

The best place to stay if you want to be near to An Bang Beach. Quickly accessible by Grab bike to Hidden Beach and Cua Dai Beach too. All the private rooms and mixed dorms are all very spacious and clean. They also serve a free vegetarian breakfast every day with plenty of choices. Maybe I am lucky, or maybe this is the tribe the homestay vibes tend to attract, but the people I've met there are very friendly, warm and always open to chat.

I was at Nalani homestay for 2 nights, but I really wanted to stay longer!||||The place itself is very nice and colorful and close to the beach.||When you enter there is a beautiful pool and a sitting area. The room had everything I needed and was very clean.||||But it is Nalani herself who really makes this place. From the moment you arrive she is so welcoming and helpful. We had some nice talks and a good cup of coffee together.||||When she saw that my t-shirt was ripped she offered me to pass by her neighbour who could sew it for me. ||And even more … she basically arranged the rest of my trip with me!||||Before she dropped me off at the bus to Namh Binh she stopped to get me the best take away Banh Mi!||||Just go. You’ll see I’m right.
