  Amazing stay at Riverside Hoi An, Dolphins Hostel & Bar! The location is perfect — right by the river and just a short walk to the old town and night market, but still quiet enough to relax. The hostel is very clean, with spacious dorms and comfortable beds. The pool and common areas are great for meeting other travelers, and there are social activities most nights which create a fun but not overly party-heavy vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with recommendations. The free breakfast was simple but a nice bonus. Overall, one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Vietnam — great value, great atmosphere, and I would definitely come back!

  All I can say the hostel was amazing. Ive been traveling for some time now. Location was perfect, Service you get good treatment with everyone, Rooms with comfy bed and great AC. For social activities I really love the event I met a lot of people. As an asian kinda hard to mingle with everyone but with the help of the three awesome volunteers Juju, Jack, Tessa and Jeff everything is so smooth and fun. They make everyone felt welcome and bring out the inner energy from everyone. Juju is a great host you could found humor and energy that attracts everyone and gives a positive vibe. “Say hi to Juju” the iconic line of the host behind every great night social activities. Been to a lot of pub crawl this is one of the best special thanks to the people behind it with their help I met also a lot of awesome travelers in the beautiful country of Vietnam. Dolphins hostel ❤️

  Last year, I volunteered at Dolphin Hotel and had an amazing experience. I enjoyed it so much that I came back this year, not only to volunteer again but also to stay as a guest. I can't recommend this hotel in Hoi An highly enough. The staff are absolutely incredible. Adam, the manager, is always ready to help and always goes above and beyond for everyone. Jeff is kind, trustworthy, and genuinely one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. And Nam, the owner, is an incredibly generous person who owns two fantastic places in Hoi An : Dolphin Hotel and Tiger Tiger, both of which are well worth visiting. The atmosphere here is amazing. It's the perfect place to meet people from all over the world, make great friends, and create unforgettable memories. If you're travelling solo, you'll never feel alone for long, this is an incredibly social hostel with a real sense of community. I wholeheartedly recommend Dolphin Hotel without hesitation. P.S. Be warned: it's a very lively, party-friendly place... so your liver might not thank you! 🍻😂

  Such an amazing experience with the hostel! Adam is very accommodating and the rest of the staff. Special s/o to Juju & Jack lovely tandem to make such a good vibes in the hostel and also Tessa & Logan are so nice to hangout with. Will come back here for sure.

  Fantastic hostel. I was really worried it would be too “party” for me but never had any issues. Rooms and bathroom was always super clean. They’ve got it set up well so you don’t hear any of the party happening downstairs. All the guests that stayed when I was there (2 weeks in total) were super respectful. Fantastic price. Fantastic location. It seemed too good to be true at first, but it really is just that good

  A very cool hostel. Everything is perfectly organized. Great location on an island, next to the old town. Positive atmosphere and fun. Lots of relaxation areas outside the dorms. You can leave your backpack if you arrive early. Of course, the price is great. I recommend it!

  I ordered the beef burger, and the beef patty was unbelievably small and of very poor quality. The portion of fries was also tiny and definitely not worth the price. My friend ordered the duck dish, and it came with such a small amount of rice that it felt incomplete. We politely asked if it would be possible to add a little more rice, considering how inexpensive rice is and the amount we had already paid. Instead of showing any understanding or customer service, we were simply told that we would have to pay extra for another portion. It wasn’t just the refusal that was disappointing, it was the unfriendly and dismissive way it was handled. Overall, the staff seemed unwelcoming and lacked basic customer care. Combined with the overpriced food and very small portions, the experience was poor from start to finish. There are many places nearby offering much better food, larger portions, and friendlier service for less money. I wouldn’t recommend this place unfortunately.

  Solid stay overall. Spacious dorm rooms with very strong air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi. The location is convenient. Breakfast is fairly basic (mainly eggs and bread) and could be improved. Shared bathrooms feel cramped, and the showers are not ideal.
