  The best hostel I have stayed in in SEA. Located in an extremely scenic area a little bit outside Hoi An. For €8 a night I got a nice large bed in a 6 person room, with extras like free coffee and cold water, free drinks for an hour each night with a free bus into town at 11. The rooftop pool is very good also. The staff here were extremely helpful particularly Jenny and Anna. When I arrived Jenny sat down with me for about 10 minutes and told me pretty much everything to do in Hoi An and gave a flyer with all the info. I was going to stay for just 1 night but immediately extended for another. There is a great chill and social vibe here, with nightly events like a pool party or pub quiz. There is a high ratio of solo travellers also.

  Honestly a great hostel with very good vibes and very comfortable beds. Location is a bit out of old town so away from the noise yet close enough to get around. Jenny, moon, Judy and Tina at the reception are always happy to help, very friendly and attentive making everything alot easier. The volunteers, and of course big boss Ben do a great job at creating a social fun vibe for everyone to enjoy. Definitely going on my recommendations list!!

  We had such a great stay at The Cuckoo’s Nest! The beds were really comfortable, which made a big difference after long days of exploring. But honestly, what made this place special was the staff, Jenny and Tina were absolutely lovely and so helpful with everything we needed. They genuinely made an effort to interact with guests and were always cheerful and welcoming, which made the hostel feel so warm and friendly. Top hostel, highly recommend!

  We stayed at Cuckoo’s Hostel for 6 nights and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The room was very clean, with daily housekeeping, and the entire hostel was consistently spotless. All the staff especially Moon, Jenny, Tina, Tin, Judy were incredibly friendly and always checked in to make sure we were having the best trip possible. They were happy to help with recommendations, answer questions, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious every morning, the nightly games and activities were a lot of fun, and the pool was amazing for relaxing after a day of exploring Hoi An. What really stood out was the overall atmosphere. From the rooms, to the facilities, to the people, everything exceeded our expectations. The location was also great—about a 10-minute Grab ride from everywhere we wanted to go—while still being quiet and peaceful at night. We were really happy with our stay and would highly recommend Cuckoo’s Hostel to anyone visiting Hoi An. We’d happily stay here again!

  Honestly such an amazing hostel! The Cuckoo’s Nest has such a fun and social vibe, so it’s super easy to meet new people. Perfect if you’re solo travelling or just want a good time. The rooms are also really nice, clean and comfortable. But the best part of this place is definitely the staff. Tina, Moon, Judy, Jenny and An are absolute legends and make everyone feel so welcome. They’re always super friendly and helpful which makes the atmosphere even better. Also definitely do the cocktail class!! It was honestly so much fun 🍹 Would 100% stay here again!

  Tina, Moon, Judy, Tram(/Jenny), An and Tin made sure I had a great stay here. The beds were amazing and had the best sleep of my whole trip here. Every night there is free rum+coke from 20:00 till 20:30 so if you drink three you have a free night of sleep, haha. Have seen people give a four star rating for the location, but I actually specifically enjoyed the location. It’s on the edge of the town which means you have a beautiful view over the agricultural land where you might even spot a buffalo! Besides, for less than 20k dong and around 6 or 7 minutes you are in the old town. I enjoyed it here and would recommend it to anyone!

  Great hostel, a little out of the main chaos which gives for a nice relaxed atmosphere but there’s plenty of activities and events on every night. There’s a nice pool, pool table and common room. Beds are super comfortable too for a hostel. Above else the staff are awesome and really helpful; Jenny, moon, Emma, tina and everyone else made my stay very comfortable. Highly recommend

  One of the best hostels we’ve ever stayed in! Super clean, comfy beds, incredible breakfast, but the best bit is the staff. They are so helpful and lovely. Jenny took so much time to check us in and inform us about the activities in Hoi An and has been the most lovely host🥰 couldn’t recommend more! Also highly recommend the walking tour and history tour with Bao, he is an excellent guide
