  One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at! Beds super comfy, always clean areas - felt more like a home than a hostel. They also set up social events for the guests like going out to a restaurant together, movie nights, etc. Also in such a good location (around a 5 minute walk from the beach, and 20 mins to get to central hoi an). Couldn’t recommend this hostel enough

  Where do I start? Came here after a few bad nights at a party hostel in Da Nang where I got no sleep. This place honestly felt like a home away from home. Stayed here for two weeks in total and don’t think anywhere in Hoi A could compare. The hosts Will and Ly as well as the bar staff, the cleaners and the old Vietnamese man who always said hello were the kindest hosts I think I’ve ever met on my travels, with Will feeling like the older brother I never had. The beds in the dorms and the privates are some of the comfiest I’ve slept on in Vietnam, and the food is AMAZING! Local sourdough bread served daily, cold beers in the fridge, fans in the communal areas and cold beers and cocktails all for a very good price. WhatsApp group chat so you can easily contact the hosts/other travellers. Everyone I met here was suuuuper lovely - not a party hostel but you can definitely find people to party with. Also some lovely dogs and an adorable puppy who are always around. Also a 5 min walk to the beach which is a lot quieter than those in Da Nang. They can also book travel (sleeper busses and boats) if you need to get to other places. Don’t even think, just book this place!

  Absolutely fantastic place! The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The location is perfect — close to the beach and within walking distance of plenty of great local restaurants and bars. Our private room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was honestly the comfiest we’ve had during our entire trip around Vietnam! The whole place has such a relaxed, friendly vibe that makes you feel at home straight away. Definitely one of my favourite places in Vietnam — I would highly recommend staying here!

  The ideal homestyle dorm walking distance to the main beach strip. A welcoming dynamic duo Ly & Will who are passionate about their space & compassionate about their guests - cooking meals, providing assistance with anything & making you feel at home. A quietly social nook, accustomed with cozy & clean dorms, comfortable hang out spots, workshops, kitchen/bar & pool. Basically right on the money

  Loved our stay here at Wanderlust, they offer a range of excursions and onwards travel as well as being super close to the beach and a quick drive away from the old town. The hostel itself is super clean with a great pool and bar area, some good food and coffee is also served up! Would highly recommend this stay!

  Amazing hostel! Such a cute common area and people are really outgoing and friendly. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are very clean. Perfect for a solo traveler as the staff (who are incredible!) frequently organize hostel dinners and movie nights etc. I extended my stay 3 times :)

  A very quiet and relaxed location—perfect for some beach time and a few nights of peace and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and Will and his wife, the owners, are legends. It’s the perfect place to meet new people, and thanks to the hostel’s activities, you really have no choice but to socialize. P.S.: The big dog is super cute.

  Can’t speak highly enough about the Wanderlust in Vietnam. Ly, Will and their team were incredibly welcoming and we felt very at home during our two-night stay. From the food, to the recommendations, and the overall vibes we highly recommend staying here. We know we’ll be back.
