Very clean and decent hotel! Loved that they allowed us an early check-in, and the receptionist is very friendly and speaks english well. Close to the beach too but on a quiet area. Will definitely stay again!

I stayed for more than 2 months in Hanami together with my gf in room 506. The hotel is perfectly located, in the middle of the touristic neighborhood. Walking distance to everything you need (beach, stores, market, bars, (vegan/chay) restaurants, gym, wellness, massage etc. But I personally recommended to have a (small) motorbike to explore more of the city (unless you don't mind relying on Grab for every ride). Further more: BIG love to the amazing reception people and the cleaning team. Everyone is very friendly and they really did their best to make us feel at home. Other things we liked: amaaazing mattress, strong wifi, Netflix-friendly TV, spacious room, bath, easy bike parking in front of the hotel, fast elevator, green view, plenty of storage space... and whenever we needed something (for example 2 extra pillows), there was no problem. Overall great value for money. Thank you for hosting us! ❤️

In general, i won't say it's good and it's also not too bad. Given the room at 601 which happen to be the corner big room with all the cooking facilities and extra sofa bed. 2 connecting balcony which is nice. The location is a bit far away from beach and at night it can gets quite noisy along the streets. Worst part, during World Cup season, people are shouting in the middle of the night. Receptionist is alone but helpful. Room cleaning is definitely not really good as they only do certain area which is needed. 3 cleaning lady but didn't do much.

It’s clean and simple, offer services, great location. I did get my white clothes stained pink from their laundry and they expected me to pay as usual even when I showed them the damage they have done. I didn’t want to make a big fuss over it, just not worth it, but it is not good customer service in my opinion to take full price as if the job was done well. it actually made me pretty disappointed and screwed my clothes. Any way, I would not let them launder anything you care about. Other than that, nice.

Although not the hotels fault, there are two dogs, one at the cafe and the other at the tyre shop, that have constant barking fits ALL day. I complained and the reception said they would speak to the owners. I asked to move rooms to other side of building, they said no. After 2nd day of not being able to concentrate with work, I noted all the times they barked and again asked reception to move my room. Again no. That evening I sent a detailed complaint to the hotel email address and asked management to contact me. To this day, I have not heard from them. The baking got better around day 3 but I think that may me because they removed them for the construction work being done on the tyre shops signage. This was the first day after Tet. This aside, their facilities claims online are not accurate. There is no usable roof terrace nor bar nor BBQ facilities. There is a pool and gym available, at another hotel across town. There is no breakfast buffet. Breakfast is a choice of 4 things from local Pho shop. I once ordered beef noodle pho which was delivered but stone cold. That was the last breakfast I had. This is a 2 star facility at best. On he good side, I found the bed comfortable and despite not being able to help me at all, the staff were wonderfully friendly and tried to be of help. Would I stay here again. Not even if it was free.

Absolutely disgusting experience! From the moment I entered the room, it was obvious that basic hygiene standards were not respected. The floor was dirty, the bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell, and the bedsheets were visibly stained. I also found insects in the room, including a dead one on the floor, which says everything about the level of cleanliness. I immediately reported the situation, expecting a proper response. Instead, no real cleaning was done, and unbelievably, I was given a broom and expected to clean the room myself. Because of these conditions, I could not stay comfortably or safely in the room. Despite this, the staff still charged me for the nights, refusing to take full responsibility. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

We honestly do not understand the many positive reviews about this hotel. The hotel feels very outdated and our room had several issues. There was mold and moisture damage in multiple places, the door was partly broken, and whenever the air conditioning was turned on, there was a strong moldy smell in the room. We received an upgraded room with a balcony, but unfortunately we could barely use it because the chair on the balcony was broken. A cushion had simply been placed over it to hide the damage, which felt quite unprofessional. We had also booked the option with breakfast, but didn't use it because the breakfast buffet was served at another hotel about 1.2 km away, this wasn't mentioned when booking the hotel. At Hanami itself, only a few local dishes could be ordered, while the full buffet and swimming pool were located at the other hotel. In addition, breakfast was only available until 9:30 AM, which felt quite early for a vacation stay. During our stay, the soap was also never refilled. Instead of refilling the soap dispenser at the sink, the staff simply moved the shower gel container from the shower and placed it next to the sink. In addition, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom and no small towels provided for drying hands, which made the bathroom feel incomplete and inconvenient. Another inconvenience was that we only received one key card per room, which was not ideal when staying with more than one person. The location itself is good, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the beach is around a 10-minute walk away. However, overall the hotel did not meet our expectations at all

I booked a room here for 3 nights through Agoda.com. It was advertised as a very nice room with a good view. After entering my credit card information, contact information, and reserving the room, I was immediately contacted via WhatsApp and told the Hotel was "under maintenance" or having some sort of electrical issue and that my reservation would be moved to a partnering hotel. I looked up the other hotel, it was nearby, and thought what the heck I will give it a try. I needed a place to stay ASAP. When I arrived at the new hotel I was shown my room which smelled of paint VOC's and/or bleach. I was upset and felt swindled or tricked by a "bait and switch" tactic. I politely requested to not be charged and immediately notified staff that I would not be staying at this hotel. They continued to try to offer me other rooms which I declined. I told them not to charge my card as I was not staying there. They continued to redirect me from "manager" to "manager" and I was left with no confirmation email from Agoda itself, and only a WhatsApp email thread with the person who originally contacted me. I am now having to dispute the fraudulent charges with my bank. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!
