2 days into our 3 day stay at the Golden Lotus Grand and we couldn’t be happier. The place is in a great location for the city, the rooms are very decent and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Breakfast on par with any 5* we’ve stayed at in Vietnam, in-fact I’d go so far to say, the best breakfast I’ve had so far. Afternoon tea is a lovely touch too! Value for money wise this place is top draw and Id definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay at this modern hotel and would definitely recommend it, especially if you want to be close to the beach while still having easy access to the city. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to My Khe Beach, with plenty of international restaurants, cafés, and bars around the An Thuong area. Getting around is easy too: it’s a quick 5-minute taxi ride to the Dragon Bridge and Son Tra area, 10–15 minutes to Da Nang Airport, and about 40 minutes to Hoi An. The room was a real highlight—very spacious, modern, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax after a day out. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, always greeting guests warmly and even opening doors, which added a nice touch to the overall experience. Breakfast was impressive, with a wide selection of buffet options and a large dining area that never felt too crowded. The rooftop pool and seating area were another standout feature, offering great sea views and a perfect spot to unwind. Overall, this hotel offers a great balance of comfort, location, and amenities—ideal for both relaxing by the beach and exploring Da Nang and the surrounding areas.

The staff here made our stay that extra special! Very friendly, always smiling & go the extra mile. Thao Ngoc who was in the kitchen was the sweetest, her personal touch didn’t go unnoticed. She would even put my toast down when she saw my little family enter the restaurant as the toaster took a long time for impatient little humans. Thank you! And to the lovely lady on the front desk- who was so warm and welcoming- thank you for Khanh Ngoc being so hospitable. Location was great, the room looses a point for works being down on our balcony so we couldn’t access it- and mild noise.

Currently having my first of 4 breakfasts in the hotel. Food is subpar, most dishes cold or haphazardly presented. Bacon is limp and in clumps, sausages thrown into the serving dish straight from the wok, in all directions and oily as hell. All other food unappealing. The worst of all is the piped music, one song repeated the full hour I sat. 6/6 Thank you for the response from the owner. All in all, we had a comfortable stay. The front office and all the service staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I am in the service industry and have traveled the world. If the breakfast buffet presentation and ambience can be improved, it will leave a very good impression. We checked out today.

This hotel pretends to be luxurious, but it’s quite far away from it. Here are a few things that we didn’t like: Common areas: *Elevators- they are slow and there are only 2 of them, which feels not enough for the amount of rooms. *Noise- there were some building/renovation works going on (even during weekend). The noise starts at 8am and finishes around 5-6pm. *Sun lounges- the pool area is great, but there are not that many sun lounges (I think around 7 in total). So most of the time they are occupied. Room amenities: *Cleanliness- the floor was VERY dusty (after spending some time arranging our belongings, I noticed that my feet were black), so I ended up asking for the room service. My bedding had a couple of stains. Bath towels had some threads. Don’t get me wrong, the bedding sheets were washed and all, just not crispy white. *Fridge- wasn’t refrigerating powerfully enough. *Kettle- the cheapest little thing entirely made of plastic. The handle of the kettle heats up so you can’t hold it (not to mention that hot plastic introduces microplastics into your water). *Soundproof- very weak, we could hear people and their crying baby next door (we shared a wall), also we could hear people upstairs moving furniture, and also you can hear if someone is talking in the corridor. *Bathroom- only 2 hangers, not enough if I want to dry some things. What we liked: *Staff- everyone has a decent level of English, very friendly and attentive. *Pools and the views from the top floor are 10/10. *Breakfast was good. *Bed mattress and pillows were of a high quality. *Gym was alright. *Location- it is a quieter street compared to some other hotels located closer to the beach. There are definitely less bao ban sellers and construction sites around the area. Overall, I wouldn’t call the stay the most comfortable, but it wasn’t dramatically bad either. 3/5

FALSE ADVERTISING AND FAKE PHOTOS. We booked this hotel through Agoda and our room was advertised as 'Sea View'. If you look at my photos, this turned out to be a lie. Infact, almost none of the rooms in the hotel have sea views. On our arrival at the hotel they informed us our room did not have a sea view. So this is something they are aware of but are still happy to falsey advertise. We complained that this is not what we had paid for but they said there was nothing the hotel could do. We were stuck as it was dark, late in the evening, we had all our luggage with us and we had just arrived in the country and were tired - all very stressful. We sat in reception and reported it to Agoda who after an 2 hours said we would be upgraded the next day. This room was nice but still did not really have a 'sea view' their photos suggested. It ruined our holiday as we specifically wanted a sea view. The hotel decor feels quite dated and most of the staff are not especially interested. There was a young man in reception (seemed like the manager) who however was excellent in doing his best help us and had very good customer service. I have no idea why this place has such good reviews. The location is fair (quite noisy), breakfast was OK, and rooms are OK. Would not recommend. You don't get a sea view and you don't get a proper city view either. It's close to the beach and shops and cafes, but that's all.

Great location, amazing pool and afternoon tea. Breakfast was abundant. The place is spotless. What stood out the most was the staff. Friendly and very attentive. Khanh was outstanding, as well as many others. I highly recommend!! Go there and ask for Khanh!

We reserved three nights at the hotel, enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by an additional two nights. Room was lovely, super comfortable bed, lovely infinity pool, delicious breakfast, complimentary afternoon tea & sweets at the rooftop pool & bar. The amazing staff were extremely polite friendly & very helpful. A bit of noise one night from a family arguing in the room beside us but I called the front desk & they quickly corrected the situation.
