We stayed at New Orient Hotel for 4–5 days and were fortunate to have Lucie assist us during our visit. From the moment we arrived, she made a lasting impression, ensuring our group’s rooms were all on the same floor, which, surprisingly, was something only one out of the five hotels on our trip managed to accommodate. Lucie went above and beyond throughout our stay. She helped arrange our tickets to Ba Na Hills and coordinated the hotel’s car service, which we ended up using the entire time, it was absolutely worth the cost for the convenience and comfort as the hotel is little remote. Our trip took place in mid-March during rainy weather, which made dining out a bit challenging as many restaurants were full. On my son’s birthday, we had to change our plans and dine at the hotel’s restaurant instead ( which was unfortunately very disappointing and they made us feel like Criminals, requesting my son's passport ( he turned 3 ) to prove his birthday and follow up with attitude for a cake that quite frankly was not worth the trouble lol) . Luckily the next day, thanks to Lucie, her thoughtful gesture of sending a birthday cake along with a handwritten note truly touched us and made the occasion memorable. While we found that not all staff members were particularly warm or welcoming, Lucie’s exceptional service more than made up for it. In all honesty, without her and the wonderful driver, our experience might have been closer to a 3-star stay. If Lucie is not already in a leadership role, she absolutely deserves one. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care set a standard that others on the team could learn from. Thank you, Lucie, for making our trip so memorable. We look forward to returning and seeing you again.

Overall, I was very satisfied with your hotel. With its room quality, breakfast, and especially the hospitality of your staff, it is a property I would gladly choose again and confidently recommend. Reception and Welcome: The professionalism of the reception team, their command of English, and their friendly and helpful attitude were truly impressive. The detailed information provided during check-in, along with the massage vouchers, daily cake coupons, and restaurant discount vouchers offered upon arrival, were thoughtful and much-appreciated gestures. Spa and Massage: The spa staff were extremely friendly. The massage I received easily ranks among the top three I have ever had; it was truly professional and excellent. Breakfast and Accommodation: The breakfast met European standards in terms of product quality and variety of bread. Cheese, cold cuts, and jams—key items for European guests—were satisfying in both quality and selection. The room comfort (bed, bathroom, balcony) was excellent. The minibar selection, coffee, and other amenities were of high quality and well presented. --- Areas for Improvement Communication: The English level of some staff members in areas such as the restaurant and poolside is unfortunately insufficient. Due to a misunderstanding regarding a meat promotion, we ended up paying a bill significantly higher than expected. This was quite shocking for us, and as a result, we chose not to use the restaurant again until our last night. Guest Satisfaction: Following this issue, it was a very kind gesture for the restaurant chef to send a fruit and croissant plate to our room as an apology. Menu Variety: The dinner menu is heavily focused on pizza and pasta. Adding more options such as chicken dishes, soups, or cuisines like Indian food would make the menu more diverse and appealing. Safety and Accessibility: The absence of handrails at the pool entrances and stairs is a significant shortcoming. Due to a knee condition, I had considerable difficulty and had nothing to hold onto; your staff kindly assisted me, but this remains a safety concern. Additionally, the poolside area is quite slippery—I witnessed a guest fall, and it could have resulted in a serious injury. Poolside Service: The poolside staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. They provided excellent service, and I would like to thank them במיוחד. As a small suggestion, having an ice cream freezer at the pool bar would further enhance the guest experience. Children’s Safety: The decorative stones around the children’s pool pose a risk. Children can throw these stones at each other or into the pool, which should be carefully reconsidered from a safety perspective. --- Turkey is among the leading countries in the world in terms of tourism and hospitality, with the Antalya region in particular offering some of the highest standards of service globally. As someone with 30 years of experience in tourism and who has held managerial positions in high-level hotels, I can say that guest satisfaction and especially child safety are fundamental principles. Even small details that may seem insignificant can lead to major issues if overlooked. I hope my suggestions will be taken into consideration, and I would like to thank you once again for hosting us so well.

Customer service: 1000/10. The staff were incredibly sweet and friendly. We were traveling with a young child and only stayed for one night on our child’s birthday. The hotel kindly upgraded our room and even surprised us with a card and a cake for the child. The room and facilities were just average, but the service was outstanding. Highly recommended.

My best friend and I stayed at this hotel recently and absolutely loved it. Everything was exceptional - the service, the staff, the rooms, the location (so close to the airport) and breakfast. We were so well looked after from the moment the Grab dropped us off at the front of the hotel until we left. The staff immediately helped us arrange through them a driver to take us to marble mountain and Hoi An then the next day arranged for us to go to Ba Na Hills. We booked all this through the hotel at an awesome price and we didn’t have to worry about any logistics as they informed us on everything and kept in contact via WhatsApp whenever we needed to ask questions. Nothing but praise and love for Lucie and Mya for looking after us and our drivers Vu and another lovely man (sorry can’t remember his name!). Every staff member was fantastic. It makes a big difference to your holiday experience to have such a great hotel and I want to say a big thank you for everything you did. I forgot to take photos of the very clean room but housekeeping were always kind to Dolly the Ostrich!

I left New Orient Hotel Da Nang with a bad taste in my mouth. The biggest issue was the room and how it was presented. Before arrival, the hotel told me I had been “complimentarily upgraded” from a Standard Room to a Superior Room with a “venting window,” while also noting that it had no view. Technically, that may be true. In reality, the window faced directly into an internal hallway where staff and other people passed by regularly. That is not just “no view.” It is a privacy issue. I was also told that people would only pass through that hallway around 4 p.m., but that was not accurate. People passed by regularly during my stay. In that context, the paid offer to upgrade to a Deluxe Room felt like a misleading upsell. The real limitation of the room was not clearly explained upfront, then the hotel offered a paid upgrade as the solution. The check-in process also felt disorganized. I first went to what appeared to be the check-in desk on the first floor. Staff asked for my passport and booking number, reviewed everything, and told me to leave my bag there. I was then sent to the second floor, which turned out to be the actual check-in area, where I was asked for my passport and booking number again. It was repetitive and inefficient. I arrived around 1:15 p.m. and was told the room should be ready around 1:30 p.m., which was fine since official check-in was 2 p.m. But I sat directly in front of the reception desk until 2 p.m. with no update. When I finally went back to ask, the key was handed over immediately. Maybe the room had just become ready at that exact moment, but it certainly felt like I had been forgotten. To make it worse, after being told to leave my bag downstairs, I then had to go back down and collect it myself. So the process created extra steps without actually providing much help. Overall, the staff were polite, but the experience felt poorly managed and misleading. The hotel seemed more focused on presenting the appearance of good service than actually making the stay smooth or transparent. I would not recommend accepting any “upgrade” here without asking exactly where the window faces and what the room actually looks like.

We stayed here for two nights and it was absolutely worth it! Everyone at the New Orient was incredibly kind and welcoming. The check-in was smooth and efficient. Our room was clean, just the TV did not work but we did not need it. The view of the pool was nice, and we especially enjoyed having a lovely balcony. The real highlight of our stay was the service. Lucie took amazing care of us. She organized a transfer to Ba Na Hills within just 10 minutes and made sure everything was perfectly arranged. She genuinely wanted us to have a great trip. The driver was also very friendly, and the price for the transfer was very fair. It was much more convenient than negotiating with Grab drivers. When we returned in the evening, the rooftop bar was quite busy, but the staff remained very professional. Drinks were served quickly and tasted great.Breakfast was also very good with a nice selection. The Area is really calm which is a nice thing because Da Nang can get really loud. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay. 10 out of 10. I will definitely book my next stay here again. Thanks to everyone!
