This is an amazing place to learn Vietnamese! From initially reaching out, Ms. Hong was great in getting us set-up for classes and always has a warm smiling face. She is a great representative for Go Vietnamese. My wife and I are in class with cô Tiền and she is best! She makes class very fun and engaging, we are learning a lot (I still need to get my stuff together). This environment has made our time in Da Nang very rewarding. We will continue on until we are able to speak like a local 😊!

I must confess that as a former teacher, myself, I am humbled by what I have just experienced during the course of two ninety minute sessions here at Go Vietnamese. First, I was greeted and interviewed—entirely in Vietnamese—by cô Thuý. Her ability to speak clearly without speaking down to me was impressive, as was her ability to decipher whatever I said to her, even though it was no doubt often expressed in garbled fashion. Even more impressive was her ability to process the interview, take notes on what I had said, and later synthesize all of this into an accurate analysis of my strengths and weaknesses. Following this was a written and listening test to assess my level. Based on the class I joined with Cô Hương I would say that assessment was spot on. Cô Hướng proved equally versatile in her listening and speaking skills and gave a dynamic, interactive and entertaining lesson that was carefully thought out and structured meticulously to first introduce concepts and vocabulary, then building on that to teach usage, and finally preparing us for a listening and comprehension exercise. Model teaching executed to perfection and taking full advantage of excellent audio- visual materials. My final assessment of her teaching and cô Thúy's interviews and readiness assessment skills? A++ I truly hope I can find a way to return to Danang to attend classes here.

I have been studying here at go Vietnamese about 4 months now. Keep in mind I study also at home with advanced study tools. My teachers have only been Yop and Hai. With 90% + of my time so far being only Hai. They do an excellent job at helping you understand the local dialect. Although I feel they could teach more syntax construction particles and words. The goal is to make you be able to survive. Not to do diplomacy. This is understandable. I use separate material that covers all possible variations in the Vietnamese language. Hai, in my experience, is a very energetic teacher. Especially if you vibe with his aura. He also maintains professionalism and will answer any questions you may have. Some even ask if I’m Vietnamese… Thank you Go Vietnamese

I was in the "survival course" taught by cô Chi with two other students. We were all older adults, and cô Chi was very patient with us. We probably stressed her out by being behind schedule, but she hung in there with us. I feel we have a basis of understanding, and we now have the ability to learn more.

I recommend Go Vietnamese to anyone who wants to get started with the Vietnamese language. Over 12 1-on-1 hours I learned how to pronounce, read and speak (only the basics so far) as well as some cultural aspects of Vietnam. Thủy was a really kind and ambitious teacher and I am sure the other teachers are too!

Great place to start your language learning journey! I like that the lessons are very interactive and full of positive energy. It's great that we had lessons not only in the school, but in local coffee shops as well. This is a great opportunity to explore local culture and to know more people. I'd recommend "Go Vietnamese" to every student who'd like to learn more about the Vietnamese language and culture of this beautiful country!

I had a wonderful experience in Cô Châu's Vietnamese class! She is an incredibly patient and knowledgeable teacher who makes learning both fun and effective. Her lessons are well-structured, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs. I feel that my Vietnamese has improved a lot thanks to her clear explanations and supportive approach. I highly recommend Cô Châu to anyone looking to learn Vietnamese!

I am very sorry to have to leave a review like this, but after what happened, I feel compelled to do so. I am a language enthusiast and have taken language classes in different countries around the world. Never before have I experienced anything like this. I was in contact with the school about one month before my arrival in Vietnam. I clearly stated that I wanted to start classes in January, and after discussing the available options, we reached an agreement on a six-week course. This duration was chosen specifically because my time in Vietnam was limited. The agreement was reached through what seemed like clear, friendly, and professional communication. Everything was settled and confirmed, and I was genuinely looking forward to starting my classes with Go Vietnamese. After arriving in Vietnam in the last week of December, one week before my scheduled start date, I contacted the school again, as I had not received any further information and wanted to know whether my class schedule was ready. They replied kindly and told me I would receive my schedule by the end of the week, on Saturday, just before the classes were supposed to begin. By Sunday, I still had not received anything, so I sent a polite reminder asking whether my schedule was ready, as I needed to know when to come to class the upcoming week. On Monday morning, I received a message saying they were still working on my schedule and that I would receive an answer shortly. I then decided to call them directly, and once again I was told they were very sorry for the delay and that my schedule would be sent later that same day. Instead of receiving my schedule that afternoon, I was informed that the price of my course had increased from 8.75 million VND to 13.23 million VND, and I was asked whether I still wished to proceed. This message arrived on the very day I was supposed to start my classes, despite the fact that everything had been agreed upon and confirmed more than a month earlier, both via text messages and phone calls. I find this extremely unprofessional. Not only was my time repeatedly wasted by delays and unclear communication, but this situation caused me to lose valuable time in Vietnam that I had specifically set aside for learning Vietnamese. I spent considerable effort trying to arrange the course and obtain basic information, only to be left feeling misled in the end. At that point, I had no choice but to start the entire process again with a different school, losing precious time that could have been spent in classes. Overall, the experience felt very disappointing and, unfortunately, somewhat like being taken advantage of. *This review is solely about my experience with the process of signing up for classes. The review is not intended to state anything about the courses itself as I have not attended any of them.
