  Vanessa is by far the best Vietnamese teacher I could have asked for. She is incredibly patient, highly pedagogical, and always takes the time to make sure everything is clearly understood. Her lessons are effective, well-structured, and enjoyable. On top of that, she is genuinely kind and pleasant to learn with. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Vietnamese in the best possible conditions.

  I've been learning Vietnamese with Vanessa, and she is really informative, makes every lesson fun and easy to follow. Since taking her classes, I've noticed I'm much more confident speaking Vietnamese and connecting with locals. Highly recommend her classes!

  Vanessa is an excellent language teacher. I studied with her in Da Nang for several weeks, and she helped me understand not only the Vietnamese language, but Vietnamese culture. She teaches accessible, useful Vietnamese, and her English is better than most native-English speakers! Her rates are more than reasonable. I cannot recommend Vanessa enough!!

  Vanessa is an amazing cô giáo! I have learned a lot taking her classes. She is patient and supportive. Even though she has a structured curriculum, she is attuned to student needs and allows the learner to drive the lessons. I am on my 15th class, on my way to hang out with the locals! Cảm ơn Vanessa!

  I have just recently started taking lessons with Vanessa, and am absolutely blown away with her professional and super friendly teaching. As well as the correct way to say certain things, she teaches you how you are more likely to hear it in everyday circumstances as well as touching on the differences between North and South Vietnamese . She is incredibly patient and makes the lessons fun - she even arranges free learning groups at cafes etc where you can meet her other students in a really friendly environment. 100% recommend Vanessa if you are thinking of learning Vietnamese - I only wish I had started months ago.

  I recently worked with Vanessa at HVietnamese to improve my basic Vietnamese skills. She was professional, organized, and fun to study with. She quickly understood my language level and helped me to take it to the next level. Vanessa has a great teaching style and I highly recommend her.

  I’ve been learning Vietnamese with miss Vanessa and it has been amazing. Each class and practice sessions makes me feel like I’m in a supportive and safe space for learning. The materials are carefully planned and easy to follow for beginners - grammar, listening, and even conversation practice.
