The nearby laundromat offers fast, same-day laundry, clean service, and washes each customer's clothes separately. The owner is very attentive

I had a really nice experience today with this service. They picked up at 11am and returned the laundry, all super neatly folded, and hemmed a yoga pant all by 4pm. The owner was really nice and I will definitely use them again since they are nearby to where I stay in Hai Chau. They can also iron clothes on request.

[English] We had a flight to catch within a few hours, so we urgently needed to find a laundry service near our hotel. We contacted this laundry shop right in front of the hotel, and they responded quickly and politely. They told us they could do the laundry immediately and even offered pickup service, so we trusted them and handed over our clothes. After dropping off the laundry, we asked about the price and were told it would be 40,000 VND per kilogram. It was slightly more expensive than other places, but since we were in a hurry and appreciated the fast service, we agreed. The problem came when it was time to collect the laundry. We were suddenly told that we also had to pay an additional express service fee and a delivery fee. We asked why these charges had not been mentioned beforehand, but the only response we received was, “You didn’t ask.” What made the situation even worse was that they charged a delivery fee for a distance that takes less than one minute to walk, claiming it was because gasoline prices had increased. On top of that, we were told that we seemed to be disrespecting Vietnamese labor costs, which felt insulting and completely unrelated to the issue. We were also told, in a dismissive manner, that if the shop was so close, we should have come ourselves. I have lived in Vietnam for a long time, and I do not look down on Vietnamese people or workers. My issue was never the amount of money. Any additional fees should be clearly communicated in advance. The problem was the lack of transparency and the way we were treated when we questioned it. Thanks to this experience, my final memory of Vietnam has unfortunately been a very unpleasant one.
