The taste is really amazing. I had to wait for over one hour. You can't really gauge how long ppl will take to eat, if u walk away, u risk missing ur number being called, which means starting the queue all over again. But it's 100% worth the wait. The service is wonderful as well, they give out free water while u wait outside n even help u roll ur bánh xèo at the table. Actually the first floor wasn’t as hot as the reviews make it out to be. The beef in the PHỞ BÒ is sooo fresh n tender, definitely opt for extra beef. Even their broth is a cut above the rest. The An Thoi morning glory has a little kick to it. I definitely want to come back n try more of their menu.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Authentic Vietnamese Experience at An Thoi! I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at An Thoi. The food was incredibly fresh, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented on traditional woven baskets and gorgeous ceramic plates. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was spot on: Fried Wontons: They were perfectly golden and crispy, topped with a delicious sweet and savory sauce that really tied the dish together. Crispy Baby Shrimp: A fantastic, savory appetizer! The shrimp were fried to a perfect crisp with herbs and garlic, and served with mayo and chili dipping sauces. Bánh Xèo (Sizzling Pancake): This was a major highlight. The crepe was beautifully crisp and came with a generous spread of fresh greens, sliced mango, cucumbers, and rice paper for wrapping. Fresh Spring Rolls (Gỏi Cuốn): These were packed tightly with crisp lettuce, fresh herbs, and shrimp, and paired perfectly with a rich, flavorful peanut dipping sauce. Stir-fried Morning Glory with Razor Clams: The water spinach was cooked perfectly with plenty of garlic, and the razor clams added a wonderful, savory seafood bite to the meal.

We had a real feast at An Hoi. Because the restaurant is so popular and Michelin-recommended, I expected rather small portions, so the two of us made the strategic mistake of ordering four dishes. As soon as the soup arrived, I realized that was far too much. The portion was definitely much larger than what you usually get for a similar price in other places. It was also excellent: deeply aromatic, full of greens, choy sum and cabbage, with very tender young squid stuffed, I believe, with finely minced fish, plus clams that added even more flavor to the broth. The highlight of the meal, however, were the grilled oysters, topped with peanuts and green herbs. They were absolutely delicious, not overcooked, still slightly soft and delicate in the center, which gave them a wonderful texture. The morning glory was also memorable, as it came with peanuts and meat, a combination I had not encountered before and found very successful. The fresh spring rolls were tasty and well filled, although the rice paper itself was slightly too tough and chewy for my taste. We had to wait about 30–40 minutes for a table, but the whole process was very well organized. You are given a number, and the numbers are called when your turn comes. The staff were also very efficient, quick and attentive to what was happening in the dining room, bringing extra sauces as soon as they noticed something had run out and responding promptly to customers’ needs. The restaurant was busy, lively and clearly very popular, but the food fully justified its reputation. An Hoi definitely deserves its Michelin recommendation.

We ordered ban xeo, pomelo salad, fried rice and oyster and we liked everything that we ordered. The portion is also large so it is fit for 2-3 people. The staff are so kind. Toan specifically has been very helpful. She volunteered to wrap all the ban xeos and even the remaining pork satay. Fat is also commendable. He kept on asking if we need something, was very happy to take our photos and gave us additional wipes when we finished our meals. I highly recommend this place and we'll certainly come back in case I have the opportunity to go back to Vietnam.

The Michelin Bib Gourmand definitely brings a crowd. We waited about 40 minutes for a table, but it was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious and 3 dishes plus 2 beers came to only 500,000 VND. I’d definitely come back, especially for the bánh xèo!

Had an amazing Vietnamese feast in An Thới and every dish felt like comfort food with a coastal twist. The spread was perfect for sharing and gave us a taste of both traditional Vietnamese flavors and fresh seafood specialties. The garlic shrimp was easily one of the stars of the table — juicy, flavorful, and coated in a rich buttery garlic sauce that paired perfectly with rice. The grilled scallops with cheese were surprisingly addictive, smoky and creamy at the same time. We also loved the crispy textures from the fried spring rolls, bánh xèo, and fried wontons. Everything came out hot and crunchy without feeling too oily. The lemongrass pork skewers had a really fragrant aroma and balanced the heavier fried dishes well. The pho bò was comforting and authentic, with a clean broth and tender beef that made it feel like a true Vietnamese classic. Even the fresh spring rolls added a refreshing contrast to the meal. Overall, the meal felt generous, flavorful, and worth the price for the variety we ordered. A great place to experience Vietnamese cuisine beyond just pho and bánh mì, especially if you enjoy seafood and sharing-style dining.

The food at An Thoi Restaurant was truly addictive, every dish was so delicious! We ordered the shrimp, and what made the experience even more unique was that the staff helped peel the shrimp for us… such amazing service 😘 The only downside was the long waiting time at the beginning during ordering. We had to patiently wait while standing for around 45 minutes 😅 But overall, the food and experience were definitely worth the wait!

Absolutely worth the wait! Hands down the best banh xeo and spring rolls we had in Da Nang. Every dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The garlic butter shrimp and grilled scallops were excellent too. Authentic Central Vietnamese food done exceptionally well - this became one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Da Nang. We’ll definitely be back!
