Myself and my son stayed here for a few days when visiting Danang. The location is very good and a short walk away from the Dragon Bridge. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Very good value and would stay again when visiting Danang.

This Hotel is in a great location. The room was a little dated but clean and very comfortable. I found the shower over bath a bit awkward as the step up into bath was quite slippery - would not be practical for elderly guests or people with mobility issues. Tuong at the front reception was very good and arranged a taxi to airport and explained the pricing with fare and airport toll. We would definitely stay at the Mercury again, but maybe ask for room without show over the bath if they have one.

We walked in from the street. Asked for available rooms, got shown 2, one small without a window that had a strong odour, immediately a no no, the other larger room with a window that felt much better, better size, bigger bed, window, etc, and didn't have any noticable odours at first. We choose the larger room at 550,000vnd and were charged an extra 100,000 for early check in which felt a little cheeky but you know it's small enough money coming from a European viewpoint. After being in the room a while we noticed more things that we hadn't before. The sheets and duvet felt ever so slightly damp, like almost sticky. There actually was an odour that became noticable after a time and then once registered in the senses refused to leave. Upon closer inspection it seemed that the room was just a grotty damp space that was just about clean enough in general to not notice it in a quick inspection. We both woke with tension in our heads as if we'd been drinking all night and neither of us have drank on this trip. Our guess is that there must be mould present in the room and in the air ducting system. We had read about the mould issues in many properties in Danang and we experienced it in our first stay here. Apart from a comfortable mattress and a free little bottle of water there wasn't a lot to be grateful for at this stay. The receptionist we met at check in was very helpful towards any questions we had for him. The location is ok.

The centralised air conditioner did not seem to work sometimes, even after restarting and waiting for quite long. So we just use the fan provided. Also there is pretty bad moulding in the bathroom. Did not bother complaining to the front desk because we were staying for less than 24 hours.

Room was clean, dry, no mold. The young man at Reception who speaks very good English, is an absolute asset for the hotel. He is so attentive and caring , I was impressed with the high level of customer service and help he has provided to me when he saw I have a knee problem. Congratulations for having such a top employee in the team !

I spent 3 nights here with my daughters. We had a fantastic stay and I couldn't fault any aspect. ||||We took one of the suites on the top floors with which we had the use of a latge private lounge with computer access. ||||We were informed that we could have 'snacks and cocktails' here in the early evening but this turned out to be a wonderful array of self service food and drinks with extremely helpful staff in attendance. ||||Breakfast was the same - supurb Vietnamese dishes alongside more western fare - cereal/ pastries etc.||||The staff were extremely friendly, charming and attentive. ||||The reception/ foyer area is large and airy and opens on to the small but pleasant pool where you can easily while away a couple of hours. A restricted but adequate menu of food is available in the foyer or you can done in the spacious and elegant ground floor restaurant.||||One floor of the hotel is given over to beautifully appointed massage, spa and wellbeing rooms with step in baths, marble floors and beautiful wooden finishing. We enjoyed several massaged during our stay and I think they were unrivalled anywhere else.||||The hotel is situated on a little promontory overlooking and slightly removed from the city. You are that bit removed from the congested streets and traffic pollution of Danang. ||||You can (and I did) easily walk in to the city centre. It's a 30 - 40 minute walk across the bridge. Otherwise a Grab/ taxi will get you there in 5 - 10 minutes for a very small cost. ||||Whether on business or travelling this is a really good hotel. It's part of a well respected global chain but it has its own distinctive feel. ||||Highly recommended.

It was a great hotel. Pity did not stay there from the very beginning. Everything was clean, there was breakfast everyday 6-9AM, it is close to the airport, walking distance to many notable spots, like Dragon Bridge. The staff was polite and nice. And bath tub! A jewel.
