Solid! Nice people, nice rooms, good prices, location really close to dragons bridge (we could see it blowing fire from our room)! Community space w pool on 2ed floor. Didnt feel like the elevator was sketchy (and im always a skeptic). Would definetely stay here again! PSA we did message them prior to confirm our booking.com booking & they confirmed it within an hour. Some people in reviews said they cancelled their reservations on them with no notice (and this is common in da nang with a lot of locations) so just message them on whatsapp or zalo & confirm & i dont think youll have any sort of problem!

The hotel's location is very convenient, its close to everything. And that's the only good thing about this hotel. The room we were given had a very bad smell, a mix of mold and cigarettes smell. It literally gave me a headache so we decided to check out after a couple of hours.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Moonlight Hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. We booked our stay two days in advance, but when we arrived at 6:30pm, we were told they had no record of our booking and that the hotel was fully booked. What made this worse was the complete lack of apology or any sense of urgency from the staff. After some back-and-forth, they eventually said they could find us a room and asked us to wait 15–20 minutes. We ended up waiting for over an hour with no updates or communication. When we finally got to the room, it smelled strongly of cigarettes, which made it very unpleasant. On top of that, the WiFi didn’t work at all, and the TV was also not functioning, adding even more frustration to an already poor experience. Overall, the staff were unhelpful, disorganized, and indifferent. This was a very frustrating stay from start to finish.

An absolutely unacceptable experience. We booked a room on friday the 17th in the morning, with confirmation. Upon arriving at reception in the evening, we were calmly informed that there were no rooms available because the reservation "hadn't been processed" that day. No planning, no organization, and above all, no sense of customer service. It's serious to be so out of touch today in 2026. Don't waste your time and never go to this bunch of incompetent people.

Unfortunately, our stay at Moonlight Hotel did not meet our expectations. We stayed in the ladies' dormitory, which had one shared washroom. We were aware of this arrangement and had no issues with it. However, the hostel's rules clearly stated that guests should keep noise levels low after 10:00 PM. Despite this, a group of boys continued playing and making excessive noise in the common area until around 2:00–3:00 AM, making it very difficult to rest. What was even more concerning was that some of them used the female washroom and left it in an unhygienic condition. When we raised this issue with the reception staff, instead of addressing the disruptive behavior, we were simply asked to "adjust." We felt our concerns were not taken seriously, which was disappointing. We also felt there was a noticeable difference in how guests were treated. At times, it seemed that guests from Western countries were given more consideration and attention than others, which did not create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Regarding checkout, our checkout time was 12:00 PM, which we unfortunately missed. We were fully prepared to pay any applicable late checkout charges. However, what concerned us was that no one contacted or informed us shortly after checkout time. Instead, staff approached us only around 1:45 PM. If there were additional charges or policies to be enforced, it would have been more professional to communicate them promptly rather than waiting so long. This made the situation feel unnecessarily uncomfortable. We also tried to explain our circumstances using translated messages, but it felt as though our explanation was largely ignored. While the staff eventually reduced the charges after we pointed out the inconveniences we had experienced, the overall handling of the situation lacked empathy and communication. I'd say better enforcement of hostel rules, improved cleanliness standards, fair treatment of all guests, and more proactive communication from staff would greatly improve the guest experience.

AVOID AVOID AVOID... Update: the hotel we were brought to is called Dai A Hotel. I can see others got brought to a different hotel but dont say the name. For people to see if they are in on the scam. Review for MOONLIGHT Hotel: Same experience as almost every recent review for this hotel. We booked knowing we would arrive very late at night due to our bus schedule. The day before our booking, I contacted the hotel both through Booking.com and via their WhatsApp number to confirm our late arrival and that check-in was available 24 hours. I received no response. When we arrived, the staff member was asleep on the couch in reception. From the start, something felt off. He didn’t check the system and simply waited for me to show my Booking.com reservation. He then claimed that I had been sent an email saying the room was unavailable and that the hotel had no rooms. I showed him that I had received no such message. Later, when I asked him to show me this email, he admitted there was no message. He then made two phone calls, pretending to call nearby hotels and saying none had availability. While this was happening, I called hotels myself. One answered and confirmed they had a room. I handed the phone to the hotel staff member, expecting them to arrange or cover the cost. He spoke briefly in Vietnamese, after which the hotel suddenly claimed they no longer had any rooms available. After around 45 minutes of this, during which we were repeatedly told to sleep on the reception couch (and the staff member seemed shocked when we refused). We were put into a taxi and taken to another hotel, where we had to pay ourselves. The staff member did not call ahead to confirm availability; he simply told us they had a room. The next morning, our Booking.com reservation had mysteriously been updated to allow free cancellation. As a result, we were unable to leave a review on Booking.com. Given the number of similar recent reviews, this appears to be a pattern and possibly a way to avoid penalties or fees. The man pictured in my review was extremely rude, became nearly aggressive, and repeatedly lied. I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel.

Booked presidential suite. On arrival they gave us bog standard room. Complained and was given presidential room. Omg it was filthy. No air conditioner. Live wires everywhere. Shower did not work. Room so dingy and dark. Got a refund and left. Do not stay here. But on a positive note front of house staff was very helpful and seemed really embarrassed, with a bit of love this place would be ideal as location is good
