  Shakti was a brilliant, kind and amazing guide. She pitched it so well and shared some very interesting stories, history and information about Hoi An! I learnt so much - and all the good stuff not in the guide books! She was lovely - very attentive- full of warmth and humour and we even got a lovely rice/nut/mango delicacy at the end! Can’t fault this tour. Highly recommended :-)

  The bike tour I did with Karla was an absolute highlight of my trip to Vietnam—truly the best experience I’ve had so far. After feeling a bit disappointed by the overly touristy atmosphere of Hoi An and the crowds in the Old Town, this tour completely changed my perspective. Even though I was the only participant, Karla still ran the tour, which made the experience feel incredibly personal and special. We cycled through peaceful rice fields, learned how locals grow peanuts, visited the home of a kind local family, and explored their beautiful organic garden. Along the way, we also tried some delicious tropical fruits together, and since I absolutely loved them, she kindly helped me buy some from a local market we visited. One of the most memorable moments was the serene boat ride along the coconut river—calm, scenic, and deeply relaxing (and yes, I even got to do the spinning I was curious about!). Karla shared fascinating insights about life in Vietnam and gave me amazing local food recommendations—exactly what I was looking for. What truly made this experience unforgettable, though, was Karla herself. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine energy made me feel completely at home. I’m deeply grateful for this experience and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An.

  Anh, thank you so much for showing me your beautiful neck of the woods and the old town in Hoi An. I really enjoyed listening and learning more about the history, the people, and the warmth of Hoi An. Thank you for being so kind, warm, and welcoming — it felt more like exploring the town with a friend. I especially loved the afternoon tour once the weather cooled down a little. This is a trip and experience I will always remember. Thank you again for such a special time.

  We went on the bicycle tour today and it was brilliant! Shanti our tour guide was so helpful and full of wonderful information. The bike ride was flat and easy. We rode through ancient town, rice fields, stopped at a family home in a village where we got to go inside, have tea and sample her organic herbs and spices. We also went to a local market and sat for a cold drink and then enjoyed the coconut boat ride. Our boat guide was so much fun!! This tour is well worth the time and money. I absolutely loved our day and highly recommend it to everyone. Such a fun way to see Hoi An.

  We went on a tour with these guys, led by the magnificent Karla. We did a bike ride from Hoi An old town, out into the rice paddies and to An organic vegetable farm, where we learnt about local organic vegetable farming and had a go ourselves. Next we went to the coconut boats, for a short trip down the river and plenty of spinning, the boatmen were crazy, but in a good way. ! Then we finished off with a super cooking class with Aunty 5, which was exceptional and the traditional Vietnamese dishes we cooked were delicious! Massive thanks to our brilliant tour guide Karla, she was bundle of fun and knowledge all rolled into one. 10/10 would definitely recommend these guys to anyone.

  The free walking tour around Hoi An is fantastic! The guide, Minh, is incredibly proud to be from here and his excitement seeps through into the tour as he shares his knowledge and details that you would miss as a tourist exploring on your own. Highly recommend!

  What an amazing experience! We did the cycling tour through the rice fields, met local farmers, rode a coconut basket, and then made a delicious lunch in the cooking class! Karla was our guide, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.. She is such a genuine kind soul, funny, knowledgeable and a joy to be around. Everything was planned and ran smoothly! The food was seriously some of the best I have had in Hoi An/Da Nang. I highly recommend this tour.

  We had an amazing time with our guide Karla during the cycling, coconut basket and cooking class in Hoi An! Only 4 customers including the three of us, it felt like a private tour! She greeted us at the meeting point with cold water and a fan (it was a very hot day). We cycled through the backstreets of Hoi An, the rice fields, stopping at rice harvesting, an organic vegetable garden, had some great herbal tea while asking Karla all the questions we had (she is VERY knowledgeable and genuinely happy to answer). We planted some morning glory vegetables. We continued cycling to a quiet coconut boat spot where we were only 3 boats on that stretch of the river. Then we arrived at the cooking class place where the table was nicely set with some nice cold lemongrass tea. We made three excellent dishes and ate all! It was a lot of fun! We continued asking any question we had. We didn't feel rushed at all, it wasn't too long either. Everything was just perfect! My 8 year old daughter loved the whole experience too. We also learned that the founder of this company supports local communities by involving the locals etc, which is great! Highly recommend the tour!
