  Initially when my friends and I planned the trip to Vietnam we were thinking I will be the tour guide for the group since I came back and visited VN many times. However, I want to enjoy the trip with my friends as much as I want to shown them VN after 36yrs. We decided to hire Mike to plan the northern part of the trip. He was recommended by one of our friends. Best decision ever! Mike and Stella My My were so attentive and caring. They became part of family by the end of the trip. The kids enjoyed having them with us. Even after the trip Mike still helped me to get my spare phone back (I left it at the hotel and didn’t realized till 5 days later😂). We highly recommend Discover Vietnam Tour. We will definitely use Mike and his team again for our next excursions. Thanks Mike and My for a wonderful VN experience.

  When I started planning this trip, I had mixed feelings, especially about whether our kids, ranging from 11-year-olds to 23, would enjoy Vietnam. But from the moment we connected with Mike, everything changed. Mike wasn't just our tour guide; he became part of the family. His role went far beyond guiding—he was our planner, translator, banker, and even our bodyguard when needed. His thoughtful recommendations and flexibility with our last-minute changes made every day smooth and stress-free. From hotel check-ins and transfers to authentic local meals, every detail was perfectly arranged. Thanks to Mike’s care and attention, we explored Vietnam in a way that felt both adventurous and comfortable. From local food tastings to excursions, every day brought something new, and every member of our family had a blast. Our youngest even said he wanted to stay in Vietnam without us! We highly recommend Mike and Discover Vietnam Tours to anyone. We’re already talking about our next trip—and Mike will definitely be a part of it again.

  This was our third trip to Vietnam. We decided to try out this service, and we didn't regret it at all. This was top notch service, from the time we stepped out of the plane in Hanoi, to the time we stepped on the plane in Saigon to fly home. It's worth every dime that we paid. We're taken care of, every minute in the day. It got to the point we had to send the guides home early some evening, so we could go back to the hotel to rest, 'cause we're exhausted with too many options that were presented to us! We experienced more things about Vietnam this time, than from the first two trips we did, combined. Mike's team was very well versed with the local eateries, local products, historic sites, local hangouts, they even went to night markets and bargained for us! I strongly recommend this service to anyone who like to tour Vietnam, they will not be disappointed.

  My fiancée and her cousins were referred to Mike and Discover Vietnam Tours. Mike worked with everyone to craft a personalized itinerary that exceeded everyone’s expectations. From using our nicknames on airport pickup signs to accommodating last minute requests with ease, Mike took care of everything. Instead of going on and on about why you should use Mike for your next tour I will simply say this…..you cannot be in better hands and when you leave you will feel like you have made a friend for life. I know we did.

In addition to planning a wonderful month in Vietnam, Mike anticipated and solved many travel issues on the spot making our family vacation truly unforgettable.   Mike is the best of the best. He’s very attentive and accommodating. We’re a group of 13 that arrived in different cities on different dates and Mike took great care of each of us. He went above and beyond to provide an amazing experience to all of us from the South to Central and the North. He did magics with our visa issue within 30 minutes before departure time, delayed luggages in VN, forgot bag at the airport, hunted down an extremely well loved stuff animal that my kid left at the hotel after we left VN and shipped her to HongKong for us. We will definitely use Mike’s service again and continue to highly recommend Mike to our friends and relatives.

  This tour company did an excellent job for our trip there in Dec 2024. I would give this tour company 5 stars rating. To start with, our coordinator, Mike, helped us planned our itinerary before we arrived, he is very knowledgeable and instrumental in ensuring we got all our paper works taken care of before the start. During the trip, our tour guide, Dat was very personable, interactive, and adaptive while coordinated and accompanied us for most of the duration of our trip. Our limo driver, Anh was phenomenal in getting thru the hair raising traffic and narrowed rural roads. Our kids have a great time, and already asking to see more for return visit in the future. This tour team makes this a memorable trip to Viet Nam for all of us. We highly recommended this tour company to any one. The price was very reasonable for our family of 8.

  Mike went above and beyond, and surpassed every expectation my family and I had. His team was also excellent, and everyone took really good care of us. He planned a two week trip for us from Danang to Sapa (including Hoi An, Hue, Hanoi, Ninh Binh and more.) We went snorkeling and paragliding in Danang, had custom clothes made in Hoi An, had bun bo hue in Hue, hiked in Sapa, and much more. All the lodging and food was first rate — special shout out to the beachside BBQ his team arranged for us in Danang (SO SO GOOD.) He also arranged a volunteer opportunity for us. Multiple people lost things on our trip, and he was able to locate every item… even a nondescript bag of souvenirs left at the Saigon airport. Mike must be a magician or something! I cannot recommend Discover Vietnam Tours enough.
