  I recently completed my TRC (Temporary Residence Card) process in Vietnam, and I’m very grateful for the professional support from Explain Everything.   No help at all, they did not listen to our side of the story and just cared about payments primarily to them. Also they asked a huge commision if they would succeed, which was actually the priority in this case. Dont work with this firm if you are having international trouble.

  Opened a company with foreign ownership through this firm in 2023. When setting up the company, the lawyer did not provide proper consultation and failed to carry out an essential procedure — opening a special investment bank account required for transferring investor funds. As a result, this issue was only discovered a year later. Two years after the incorporation, when it was time to renew the license with the Department of Investment, I was informed that I had to pay a fine of 70,000,000 VND and close the company due to violations in the foreign company registration procedure. They may provide good legal services in other areas, but they clearly do not know how to properly register companies with foreign ownership.

  Anwalt Bewertung My experience with this law office in Vietnam was extremely disappointing, frustrating, and, in my opinion, highly unprofessional. I had a visa overstay situation, which I was not properly informed about beforehand. Even the local police initially told me everything was fine. Then, just two weeks before my planned departure, I was suddenly told that I had overstayed by one month. I attended a police appointment at 10:00 AM, but I was sent away and told I needed a lawyer, even though I did not want one. Later, I was given another appointment at 3:00 PM, where a lawyer was essentially imposed on me without a real choice. Before agreeing to anything, I explicitly asked the law office what the total amount would be, including all fees and fines. I was told 5.4 million VND. To be absolutely sure, I asked again if this was the full and final amount, including the lawyer’s fee, and I was clearly told “yes.” However, it later turned out that the 5.4 million VND was only for the lawyer, and I still had to pay an additional 8 million VND fine. This brought the total to around 13 million VND (over 400 EUR), which was far more than what I had understood and agreed to beforehand. In my opinion, the lawyer did not provide any meaningful service. The only thing he did was read a document aloud—something I could have handled myself. Overall, the entire process felt very unprofessional and not transparent. I personally did not experience this as a fair or trustworthy system, and it gave me the impression that, in situations like this, foreigners can easily feel taken advantage of. I strongly recommend others to be extremely cautious, double-check all information, and make sure all costs are clearly confirmed in writing before agreeing to any legal assistance.
