I’ve been practicing yoga here with Kimchi for a while now, and I really love it. The studio is super clean and has great airflow. What I appreciate most is Kimchi’s attention to detail she always checks in on how my body is feeling from the previous session before we start. You can really tell she’s passionate about teaching and has so many great techniques. Plus, her English is excellent, which makes the instructions very easy to follow.

This is my review of Instructor Kim Chi at Smileyoga. I have been trained by her three times a week since October 2024, and I have noticed a significant improvement in my strength and flexibility. Chi's voice is soft, and her calm demeanor helps guide you to correct postures without feeling nervous. Her routine includes stretches, flexibility exercises, and strength training to prepare for the final asana pose. Before her training, I was unable to do a headstand, but now I can do it with confidence! There is still plenty of room for improvement, but I have no doubt that I will continue to progress with Chi's guidance. I strongly recommend her; she is the best yoga teacher I have ever had!

I’ve been attending Smile Yoga for over a month now and I have to say it’s excellent. By far the best priced monthly yoga membership deal in Da Nang. The cheapest option let’s you attend a class at 11:45 and 3pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The 11:45 teacher, Kim Chi, is wonderful. Her instructions are precise and clear and she repeats everything in both Vietnamese and English, which is helpful as the class is usually made of half Vietnamese and half English students. The style of yoga is Hatha and it’s not too complicated but also a nice balance between stretching and strength with a more advanced pose at the end to try. Each class usually focuses on a different muscle group, but follows a similar flow and structure. I have tried the 3pm teacher, but didn’t enjoy her as much and she mostly teaches in Vietnamese and talks a bit too much in my opinion. There are also classes in the morning (I believe 7:30am 9am) and on other days, but I haven’t tried them. Mats are provided as well as blocks, bands and other fun yoga equipment like rollers which I’d never seen before. There is drinking water and no AC, but fans which are sometimes on or Kim Chi puts on when she notices you’re drowning in your own sweat. You could email Kim Chi for more information (her email is in the reply to this review) but you can also just show up for a single class and it should be fine. I’ve included a photo of me doing a fallen angel pose which I’d never done before and a time-lapse of a typical class. Also I’ve provided a visual guide to attend the class, as my first time I had trouble finding it, you can follow in my pics. Note that the closest entrance (and the one I started my guide with) is not the main entrance to the sports area, rather it’s the side entrance. (Go past the main entrance, turn left and you’ll see it on your left)

I stumbled by this yoga studio and discovered a true gem. I’ve been taking the advanced yoga classes on weekends and it’s been incredible. The level is high, the teacher is truly knowledgeable and the environment is friendly. I can vouch the advanced classes for skilled practitioners.

10/10! I attended one late afternoon and one morning class the next morning. Pham is a brilliant teacher and she was seamlessly cueing in both Vietnamese and English (only for my benefit as I was the only foreigner in the class). Pham’s classes are well structured, each focused on particular area, with prepping/warming up for the targeted body part. She incorporates sun salutations in as well and creates little flows. I cannot recommend her classes more, I thoroughly enjoyed them. They were balance between strength, alignment and balancing. The studio is also perfect - a good size, mats & cleaning materials provided and so are all the props you might need. Namaste 🙏🏽

I wanted to express my gratitude for this place and teacher. I had great experience. Reason is my 2 knee was really hurting and that’s make difficult to walk. 2 months I practiced yoga my knee pain is gone. And I also started to really love yoga. My stretching really improved. Until I leave Da Nang I will stick with this yoga classes ❤️

I absolutely loved this yoga class! We were only a few students, which allowed for personalized attention and plenty of adjustments. The teacher gave it her all and even provided instructions in English for me. The class was very well-structured, with a strong focus on backbends throughout, offering various techniques and adjustments to work on them.
