  Update: came back in 2026. Food were still good but service was a bit chaotic. Original: Probably one of if not the best seafood restaurants I have been to. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. We had steamed clams (they were so big and sweet that we ordered another portion), grilled whelks, grilled tiger prawns (so big), sour soup with clams and the steamed squids (super fresh amazing flavour). The staff were friendly and attentive. 10/10 for me.

  Found this absolute gem right next to the river and the beautiful bridge on our way to Đồng Hới and Ninh Bình. One of the BEST Vietnamese dinners I’ve had so far since travelling through Sai Gon, Đa Nẵng, Hội An and Huế. Perfectly cooked family style homemade dinner. Brought me back to my childhood in Northern Vietnam. Everything tasted amazing and the seafood we ordered tasted sooooo freah. The owner told us enthusiastically how their squids, shrimps and fishes are caught by themselves in the big river that we are facing next to. On your way to the restroom, you walk past the “open” kitchen and everything looked clean and organised. The restroom were fully equipped and clean as well. I highly recommend!

  Best restaurant in the town! fresh seafood, excellent service and super friendly owner. Was there for lunch, the food got served quickly and it felt fresh. The restaurant is bid and feels super clean. I recommend 100%

  Great experience here with my family. The restaurant is close to the beach so you could see the view from there. Overall, fresh food, good time, just relax and enjoy your evening. Much recommended.

  Very pricey. I’m Vietnamese American. I came here with a couple of German friends to have dinner. The view was beautiful. The menu was all in Vietnamese so it was harder to order as my Vietnamese reading is limited. We asked if the waiter can translate the menu for us which she did. The food was fresh but tasted OK, nothing too special to charge 250k a plate. The strange part was we were sitting outside for the view and air, and my friend needed a smoke after the meal. The owner of the restaurant came over and told her if she could put out her cigarette as there were a family dining, a distant away from us that had a little kid maybe around 7 yrs old. And then later when we were ready to leave the owner came to say hi and started chatting. He was obvious drunk as I can smell the alcohol on him. My ordered grab driver showed up minutes before my friends ride and the owner came up to the driver and said something to him and then he told me if I can cancel the trip as he had something he had to go to. That was the strangest thing as I was thinking why did he take the ride in the first place if he had somewhere to go. Right after that the owner kept pushing me to take the ride on his phone. Being super pushy and obnoxious. I got another driver right away. And proceeded to start walking across the street away from the restaurant. My friends ride showed up right before mine. And I was relief when my ride came right after. I’ve never felt this unsafe in Vietnam. As I am Vietnamese myself and know that I was being hated on and being harassed in this way by a restaurant owner. I would definitely make sure to tell everyone I know about this restaurant and how I felt of my experience when I was there in Dong Hoi, Quang Binh.
