    High quality hospital

Many thanks for the first class care I received today from the ED staff at Cuba Dong Hoi Friendship Hospital. The ED fracture nurse and ED Drs and X-ray staff took great care in attending to my fractured arm. I am an ED nurse from Australia and I was taken care of with kindness and care. Thank you very much from my husband David and myself

Very good hospital and reasonably priced - a 2 day stay with MRI and X-ray and the medicines cost around 4.5mVND. Staff were well informed and effective at providing the right medicines and giving a good diagnosis. On the whole a pretty good hospital in comparison to western hospital standards.

I received the necessary care but the hospital seems to come from a country at war, it's old and not very clean.. The staff a bit lazy, one doctor spoke English and was kind. The doctor who bandaged my hand looked like a mechanic and treated me like a scooter (if you know what I mean). I don't know, the first thing they asked me was if I wanted to go to a bigger hospital 🤔 aren't you doctors as well? It's ok for little/not severe problem like mine, but to avoid if you are really sick....

It was ok. A few staffs could speak English but not much and not well enough. Some of them are very friendly and try to be helpful while some others do not have time to be friendly. Things work differently from our western countries so you need to be patient. If you come after 5pm, things will be a bit more complicated and without an interpreter, it could take longer than normal to get what you really need. Depending on what you want to do, there will be a deposit or an advance for getting checked and tests or experiments. Cantene is good enough with basic stuffs. There are convenient stores outside near the entrance of the hospital.

Even if you smoke in the hospital, you're not restricted. They know, but they're not interested

A terrible experience for me on Sunday til now. I checked with a doctor on Sunday that I got a fever and flu. I knew that was sinusitis. They gave me strong antibiotics and I vomited after using. Yesterday, I went there to ask, they require me to check and pay again. I have the right to complain them cause I am using their service, I didn't use medical insurance. They have to make up for me cause the given prescription was wrong and not adapt myself to medicine. Now, myself turn to stomachache because they gave me a wrong medicine. What the heck are they doing?
