  We arrived at this hotel at 3 a.m. on July 19th due to a very unpleasant hotel nearby. Two very tired people were greeted by a lovely woman at reception. She made us feel so welcome and sorted a room for us within minutes. The room was very spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed with great AC. Because we were so tired, we missed breakfast and went to the restaurant at 12 p.m. The food and coffee were excellent. The nicest omelette I have gotten in Vietnam so far. I highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay during your visit to Dong Hoi. *This hotel (as far as I can see) is not on Booking.com. I think they are missing a trick here, as we use this site for most of our travel bookings.

  Very clean rooms, we picked ocean view room, great view, outdoor pool, unfortunately a little too cold to swim. Staff very friendly in general Special mention for the lady in the reception, so so helpful in many ways, makes life easier for a traveler

  We had our wedding here and stayed the night in a honeymoon suite. The staff was very professional and the wedding went perfect and there were no problems to speak of. There was a little language barrier as most of the staff don't speak much English and I don't speak much Vietnamese but luckily my wife could handle most of the communications. The room was spacious and very nice with an amazing view. We considered staying in a villa but we visited them beforehand and the villas had a slightly musty smell so we opted for the suite and don't regret that. The resort also has an amazing spa with multiple different style saunas and excellent massage.

  Clean, comfortable and presentable rooms. The highlight was the large, clean pool and good beach access. However, the beach has a lot of debris. Our room had excellent pool and sea views from the 6th floor. The hotel was really quiet when we were there, which suited us but there is NO atmosphere at all in the bar and restaurant. You also can’t really walk anywhere from the hotel. We hired a scooter which meant we could spend most of the time outside of the hotel in Dong Hoi.

  Disappointing Stay Despite Good Location and Friendly Manager I really wanted to enjoy my stay at this resort because the location is great, and the manager is very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The corridor smelled strongly of dead fish, which was extremely unpleasant and made it hard to even walk to the room comfortably. Inside the room, things weren’t much better – the toilet door couldn’t close properly, and the lock was broken, making it feel very insecure. We also had serious electrical issues. Some power sockets didn’t work at all, and most of the others had unstable electricity, constantly turning on and off, which is dangerous and could easily damage your devices. Customer service was also a letdown. The Zalo support staff, My Duyen, was unhelpful, unfriendly, and seemed uninterested in assisting guests. When we tried to raise concerns, she appeared annoyed and dismissive. Overall, it’s a place with potential, but the current state of facilities and poor support make it not worth the price or trouble. I hope the resort addresses these serious issues soon.

  We wrote a review about this business because of the attitude of their staff. Afterwards, their senior management contacted us by phone, demanding that we remove the review instead of resolving the issue fairly. It was a demand, not a polite or good-faith request. When we refused, they threatened to take legal action against us. Later, the police even contacted us about the matter. It’s been terrifying — we’ve been very anxious these past few days. I just want to remind everyone: be careful!

  Our stay in dong hoi "gold coast hotel resort &spa" turned out even better than expected. The hotel offered excellent value for money — affordable yet full of thoughtful touches. Every staff member we met was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable.||The swimming pool was a real highlight: beautifully maintained, clean, and surrounded by a calm atmosphere that made it hard to leave. The whole property felt tidy and well cared for. I also loved the easy access to the beach — just a short, pleasant walk through a lovely flower garden that gives the place such a peaceful vibe.||If you’re looking for a place that combines fair prices, great service, kind people, and a relaxing environment, this hotel is an excellent choice. I’d happily stay here again!
