I had a wonderful stay at Anh Linh 2 Hotel! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The view from my room was stunning, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway!

The view from the restaurant on the top floor was stunning. The receptionist was very helpful. Breakfast was ok. Housekeeping was fine. The location is ok at the offered price: 400m from walking street and 1.4km from the beach. However, I would not recommend anyone to book dinner or lunch at this restaurant as the food was under value: quite expensive and not delicious at all.

Established hotel overlooking the River. The rooms are clean although looking a bit tired in the bathroom department. Safe parking for bikes underneath even if security insist on moving everything around. Limited English spoken. Cash payment required. Some of our party were woken by a knock on the door at 7.30am insisting on "checkout" ! No idea why. For food options walk right out of the hotel. I went 10 mins to Oregano Pizza which was well worth it.... delicious. Many hotels to pick from on the riverfront... this was ok and for the £12 cost, about right for the money. At Nov '24 there were renovations but the jack hammer did stop at 5pm as promised.

It was 2nd time I have been here, I went there with my uncle, they reserved our room on 10th floor which faces 2 side, you can see the lighthouse and combination of river and the ocean on the other side. It was amazing. But there was some problems: first the room was hot even the A.C has run 2 hours, I left the key in order to keep a.c running while we went for dinner but when we went back it was still hot. I understand the room is high so can not stay away from the sun, but it was quite inconvenience. Secondly, it seems like nobody swept the room before we came, floor was full of dirt and hair. Third, There was some noise from the ceiling, I guess it was animals or kind of... Breakfast was good, we had fun conversation with the owner. Anyway, I do recommend you come and stay here for a couple nights because it is reasonable.

This is a good hotel. They don’t speak much English. The breakfast is more Vietnamese than western and the fresh milk for tea is sweetened!!! We went to Dong Hoi to go to the fabulous Paradise cave. The hotel arranged it no problems excellent visit. We were woken at 5am by REALLY loud locals shouting outside our room as they were checking out!!! No respect for others.

We had a few 3 stars hotels yet in Vietnam and this one was the worst. It seemed like a 1 star hotel. Unfortunately for the employees who did everything to make things happen and to make us happy.||The room was noisy and not clean and the sheets also where not clean. The shower was warm for like 10 minutes and the breakfast is overall vietnamese. The best was the egg baked in bread in oil. Of course not to serve a western breakfast is a choice of the owner of the hotel, while we have seen many reviews about the breakfast.||

I stayed at the Anh Linh for 3 days during rainy season. I felt really at home in my room - all was new and clean, good beds, fast wifi and a view of the river and a bit of the ocean in the background. The staff at the reception speak English and are really friendly and helpful. I loved the breakfast buffet and especially the fried banana dish. The choice was good, and it was plenty. The location is perfect for me because it is between downtown and the longer beaches in the north of the city. The riverside where many restaurants are is within walking distance. ||||Dong Hoi is a bit forlorn in rainy season, but thanks to the hotel I felt comfortable staying inside when it rained. Clear recommendation - just avoid the floor underneath the restaurant since you will hear the noise from upstairs in the morning.

We stayed for two nighs in march, because we were interested in visiting the caves (which are a must-see btw.). Its not yet a truly turist area, so for example the breakfast is simple and only Vietnamese. The hotel offers great views, but (contrary to their advertisement) there is not really a beach (hotel is next to a river) and there is no restaurant for the evening. Overall good. Price gives the hotel one more star. Pro-tip: avoid the "Red peppers restaurant" next to the hotel. It has high score on Tripadvisor but their reviews are fake.
