  Would love to give this 7 stars! What a fabulous hotel with breathtaking views of the river. Everything about Melia Vinpearl is top class and lives up to the Melia brand name. The rooms and the bathroom are top notch as is their lobby, swimming pool and Gym. The service is outstanding and the breakfast buffet has numerous options even for strict vegetarians.

  I stayed here for one night since I'm going to Son Doong caves. Hotel room is insanely big, absolutely lovely. Shopping mall next to the hotel is great for groceries. Hotel is in a perfect location. I rented a scooter to go to The Duck Stop about 1 hour away. Hotel staff were really great and explained a few tips. I couldn't even figure out how to start the scooter lol. It is a very easy and beautiful ride. Many reviews say nothing to do in Dong Hoi, but every place depends on what you make of it. I will remember and cherish my time here.

  Top-notch cleanliness and hygiene standards. The **breakfast** here is a standout—easily one of the best I've had in a hotel, with so many delicious options. Getting around is a breeze as **Grab offers frequent discounts** for this location. Pro tip: There’s a fantastic **massage shop called SEN SPA MASSAGES just a 10-minute walk away**. It’s professional, uses high-quality natural oils, and is much better than the '24-hour' tourist traps nearby. Staying here and visiting that spa is the ultimate combo for a relaxing holiday!

  Magnificent hotel, fabulous staff, truly 5 star! I stayed here a day before and after my phong nha trip, and it was fantastic. Staff go above and beyond. English speaking. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and luxurious. The pool is massive and there is a large delicious breakfast buffet.

  The best Melia hotel that I have ever stayed. It's so spacious everywhere, from the lift to the room. The corridor have large windows and natural light. Only two nights so I don't have time for everything at the breakfast. But what I had are over my expectations, the quality of the food surpassed lot of 5 stars hotels in big cities. I have been working in travel business for almost 30 years, and I am very pleased with your hotel and your friendly staff.

  This is not a five star hotel by western standards. Specifically the cleanliness of the bathroom and room in general. Sheets were fresh but the bathroom and room could use a deeper clean. Bathroom grout had mold and the shower door and walls look like they have not been thoroughly scrubbed in a while. Similar the refilled toiletries all look like they rarely get turned over and cleaned properly. The breakfast buffet is over priced in my opinion, you’re better off hitting the street and finding something else. The fruit was fresh and the coffee and omelette station were ok but the rest of the food is stale,’often cold even under the buffet lights and it’s just ok hotel buffet food imo. The service though is excellent as staff work really hard to accommodate you and make you feel welcome. The location is also pretty good. I enjoyed the view from the room as well.

  I stayed at Melia Vinpearl Quang Binh from June 14–24 2026 while on a business trip, and I couldn't have been happier with my stay. My oceanview room on the 21st floor was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that view every morning made the experience even more special. The room was spotless, modern, comfortable, and very well maintained throughout my stay. The housekeeping staff did an outstanding job every day, and I really appreciated the complimentary bottled water that was replenished daily. The welcome cakes waiting for me when I arrived were a thoughtful touch that immediately made me feel welcomed. What truly made this stay exceptional was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. A special thank you to Nhan Le and the rest of the hotel staff, who went above and beyond to assist me with several business related needs during my stay. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and kindness made everything so much easier, and I truly appreciate all of her help. I highly recommend Melia Vinpearl Quang Binh to anyone visiting the area, whether for business or leisure. I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit.
