  Sadly after 12 days in this hotel it's time for me to go. I did have a great time in this hotel, the room was really nice, super clean and a great view over the city. Breakfast, plenty to eat and of the good quality. Now it's time to thank the manager of the hotel and two special people to me, the receptionist Linh and Tien. They are not just a receptionist,but friends now. They have explained with their good knowledge of English, the way life runs in vietnam and places to visit in Dong Hoi and much more help. Thanks to everyone working for the Rex Hotel. Ciao

  We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s a a new facility an everything is modern. Very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager at front desk spoke very good English, is so kind, friendly and beautiful. If I were a few years younger I would ask her to be my wife. I highly recommend this place.

  Great experience, clean and luxury hotel! We loved our stay here, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Flat TV, mini fridge, hair dryer, safe, kettle, water and a mini bar at expense in room. Bed was a bit harder than we would have liked but it was livable for 2 nights. Breakfast was the same both days, lots of variety of foods. Cereal, toast, fried breakfast, salad & other meats available. Fresh juices, water, tea, coffee & milk available for drinking. We enjoyed the breakfast. Severed at reasonable times as well! The hotel has other restaurants, board room, top floor swimming pool (not heated), karaoke (stops at 10pm). We wanted to use the spa however it was apparently under construction apparently. The receptionist did recommend us to a close by spa which was cheap and well maintained. Staff were super friendly and helpful at the front desk. Underground parking if you hire a bike. Would recommend a stay here and would definitely come back to stay if we come back to Dong Hoi!

  Our family had a great experience here. The room was very clean and spacious. Located in a newly neighborhood of the city. The breakfast buffet was good.

  Great value, fabulous versatile and extremely helpful staff, very clean and the food is terrific. Nice quiet chilled out bar downstairs next to reception and pretty beer garden when the sun is out. The rooms are amazing and spacious and there’s a pretty good gym on 11th floor where there is also a modern smart new wellness centre. Was closed for this month however will be an awesome addition.

  The rooms and hotel are great and spacious! However, taking off one star because the breakfast didn't have any vegetarian options despite us informing the staff multiple times of our dietary restrictions while booking the room and at the time of check-in. Taking off another star as the staff wasn't very attentive and for over-charging us for water bottles.

  It was the day before a typhoon, so we arrived late at night hoping to get a room and a safe parking at the highest rated hotel in the area. The receptionist was rude and told us to go somewhere else if we want parking.

  Location of the hotel is only 1.2km from the Dong Hoi Railway Station.  The ground floor lobby is great and cosy.  The room is clean and spacious with very beautiful river view.  There is a park near the hotel and adjacent to the river. The breakfast provided by the hotel is good with variety of western and vietnamese foods. The lady in the reception is very helpful and friendly.
