Very friendly and kind guests - whole family. Even the small daughter can speak English. They run also the convenience store in the same building. Good european freakfast of your choice (either scrambled eggs or pancakes or egg fried rice, all that with tea/coffee snd fresh fruits)🍉. Got the freshest baguette 🥖 from next door bakery with my scrambled eggs for breakfast. They borrowed us 6 raincoats for our cave tour visit on a rainy day🌦, claiming that if we will not need to use them, we do not need to pay them (15k a piece) the rain stopped just on time so we returned them back in the evening 😇😊 for free... Great location facing main promenade and enlightened Dolphins statue🐬🐬 in the park opposite the entrance, so you really cannot miss it 😊🤩🤗

I had an amazing experience at Dolphin Homestay. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. The room was comfortable, with a nice blend of traditional and modern touches and access to a beautiful terrace with a view on the sea. It’s also perfectly located for exploring nearby natural wonders like Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park and the caves. If you're looking for a peaceful, authentic stay with kind hosts and a personal touch, this place is a must!

I'm planning to stay from November 8th to November 11th. Originally, I was planning to stay for two days and go somewhere else for one day because the room I wanted wasn't available, but I decided to just stay. First of all, I think everyone has similar reasons for choosing this hotel. I, too, found this place through Google reviews. To cut to the chase, I have no complaints. Finding them is completely unnecessary. My room, a rose, is 4.5m x 2.5m (excluding bathroom size). The bed seems a bit larger than a king-size. The mattress seems to be latex I liked it. The room has air conditioning and a fan, which I think helps with drying out. I've read other reviews about the owners, and agree with them as well as they're just naturally kind people. They'll help you make decisions and guide you through your trip. They'll also help you with transportation, things to see, and tour reservations as well. While the hotel itself may seem lacking, I hope you find it one of the joys of your trip. My itinerary is as follows, and I hope it'll be of some help to future travelers. I came alone. Day 1: Arrive at Da Nang by train at 6:30 AM (VIP sleeper car - odd-numbered beds in even-numbered cars, facing forward). Simultaneously, the next day, a tour bus picked me and went on a Phong Nha-Ke Bang cave tour (a couple who arranged it for us) Day 2: Cave tour (8 AM to 4:40 PM) after arriving at the hotel, playing table tennis on free bicycles (all the locals are great and friendly). Day 3: Had a banh mi (stuffed breakfast bread) for 20,000 VND at a bakery next to the hotel, and toured the neighborhood on bicycles for about 7 hours (using a map provided by the hotel). There weren't many cars or motorbikes, and the people there were very understanding (it had been a long time since I rode one, so my butt was burning and sore). I recommend KM0 cafe (great salted coffee at a good price). If you're alone, you may not eat well. Day 3: The hotel has a shop, so it's good for beer, snacks, and drinks. I heard that Vietnam cigarrett 555 is good. I'm going to Hue tomorrow by bus coming to here(it is like small tour bus- not sleeping bus) the owner of the made a reservation. Thanks for reading!!!! Thank for the owners of the Hotel Dolphin Homestay

Realy lovely stay in Dong Hoi - clean and spacious room with a balcony. Breakfast was lovely and the host was checking in with us when we wanted breakfast etc. one of the few home stays we’ve had that offers a dinner menu. Great place to stay!

Hoai was genuinely so kind and helpful, we arrived very early in the morning and she was there to let us into the room and she also gave us a map of things to do in the city! We also had a street wide power outage and she was prompt to let us know and also refunded our breakfast and still gave us coffee, and was always nearby to help when needed. The accomodation is also very nice and has everything you need.

Highly recommended! I chose this place because it’s in a great location, just a short walk from the beach, market, and bus station. The owner was incredibly hospitable and provided excellent service.

The room was very clean and inexpensive. The room cost 250,000 VND. It had a single bed that could sleep two people, and the blankets, pillowcases, and sheets were really clean. Even though it was winter, the hotel provided a dehumidifier.
